Delverium servers are live at Survival Servers. Delverium came out in Steam Early Access today, September 21, and it ships without a dedicated server of its own. Every server we sell runs Lodestone, our free open-source server software, so your world stays online when you log off and your friends join through the free Lodestone app.
What Delverium is
Delverium is a survival sandbox adventure from Sagestone Games. You explore, build, farm, craft and fight, and delve underground to find out what the invading Faults are and how to stop them. It plays solo, in split screen, or in online co-op for up to 8 players, and it is Steam Deck Verified.
The Early Access release went live at 1 PM Pacific on September 21 at a launch price of $9.99, 20% off the $12.49 it settles at once the launch discount ends. The developer has said the game will keep growing through Early Access, which matters for servers and we come back to it below.
How Delverium co-op normally works
Co-op in Delverium is hosted from one player's game. The host opens their world, friends join through Steam, and the world exists only while the host has the game open. Close the game and everyone is out. The save sits on the host's PC, so the group plays on that one person's schedule.
There is no dedicated server download and no way to join a world by address in the game itself. That is the gap Lodestone fills.
What Lodestone is
Lodestone is two open-source pieces. LodestoneServer runs Delverium as a real server: no monitor, no player attached, saving the world on a schedule and reloading the same world on every start. The Lodestone app runs on each player's Windows PC and connects their own copy of Delverium to that server.
The Lodestone app. Add a server once, then Connect. Characters stay with the player. They are made in Delverium itself, exactly as they always were, and each player brings their own to the server. The world, its buildings and its progress live on the server.
The live world map in the control panel. Player markers move as your friends play. Both halves are on GitHub: Lodestone for the app and LodestoneServer for the server package. Anyone can run it on their own Windows machine. We host it for people who would rather not.
What players need
Joining takes three things: Delverium on Steam (every player uses their own copy), the free Lodestone app, and the server address. The server owner opens the server from the control panel and it lands in their app with the address filled in. Friends type the address in by hand or open a link the owner sends them.

What our servers include
- 2 to 8 slots. Plans start at $9.95 a month for 2 slots and top out at 8 slots, the most the game supports.
- Eight locations. Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Miami, Germany, France and Singapore.
- World settings in the panel. Server name, player slots, which world save to run, world difficulty and world size, a join password and horde mode.
- A live world map. The surface and the caverns, with your friends' positions, in the control panel.
- Your files. FTP and a web File Manager for the world save, plus backups you can download and restore.
- Instant setup. The server installs and starts itself after checkout and is joinable within minutes.
- 25% off. The code SUMMER25 takes 25% off the first payment on any Delverium plan, and the order page fills it in for you.
Early Access and updates
Delverium is an Early Access game and the developer has said updates will keep coming. The server and every player have to be on the same game version to play together. When Steam updates the game, update the server from the control panel and start it again. The world save is not touched by an update.
One note for anyone who played on our servers before today: those servers ran the free demo build. The game itself offers to import your demo character the first time it starts. A world started on the demo keeps only the demo's areas, so start a new world to see the full game.
Why we built this
Delverium is one of the games we have taken from host-from-your-own-game co-op to a real hosted server this year, alongside Subnautica 2, Grounded 2 and Dimraeth. The pattern is the same each time: the game has no server of its own, so we build one that runs without a player attached, publish it as open source, and keep it current as the game updates.
Delverium server hosting is live now, from $2.99 for 3 days or $9.95 a month. Pick a location and a slot count, and the world is up before your friends have installed the app.
