A free seed map for Minecraft Java Edition. See every biome and where the game puts villages, strongholds and more, with their coordinates. It runs in your browser, with nothing to download.
World generation: cubiomes by Cubitect (MIT licence), which recreates the game's own generator, checked by us against Mojang's server for every version listed. Not an official Minecraft product. Not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
How to use the Minecraft seed map
Type your seed and choose Show map. Drag to move, and scroll or pinch to zoom. Point at the map to see the biome and the coordinates there, and click to keep them under the map, ready to copy.
Pick your game version and the Overworld, the Nether or the End, and choose which structures to show. Share map puts the seed and the view in a link, so your friends see the same place.
How do I find my world seed?
In the game, type /seed in the chat. On a server you need to be an operator. A server owner also finds it on the level-seed line of server.properties.
Can I type a word as a seed?
Yes. The game turns a word into a number, and the map does the same. Type it exactly as it was typed when the world was made, with the same capital letters.
Which versions does the map cover?
Java Edition 1.19 to 26.3, and the biomes of Bedrock Edition. Versions that make the same world share one entry in the list, and we checked each entry against the game's own server.
Why is a structure missing in my world?
The map shows a new world. Parts of a world that were made in an older version keep their old land, and mods or data packs can change where things go. Pyramids and trail ruins also need suitable ground, which the map cannot check.
Play your seed on your own server
Start a Minecraft server on the seed you found, invite your friends, and add mods or modpacks from the panel.
