Name your server, set a password, pick the game mode and the starting map, add admins by Steam ID, and change any setting with our easy one click form. Silica mixes first-person shooter and real-time strategy on the desert planet Baltarus, where the human Sol and Centauri factions fight each other and an alien species. One player commands from above, building bases and armies, while everyone else fights on the ground as a soldier, in a vehicle or as an alien creature. Play Strategy against other players or Co-op Strategy against the AI on your own server.

Frequently Asked Questions about Silica Server Hosting
Yes. Silica has an official dedicated server, and it is what our servers run. Your server stays online around the clock and shows in the game's own server list, so your group can start a match at any time.
Friends find your server by its name in Silica's in-game server list and join from there. Set a server password in your control panel to keep it to your own group.
Add your Steam ID (the 17-digit SteamID64) as an admin in your control panel and restart the server. In game, open the console with the ` key and use Kick, Ban, Unban, Map, EndRound and AddAdmin.
Strategy, and Co-op Strategy against the AI. Pick the mode and the starting map in your control panel. Players vote on the next map when a round ends.
