ROUTE is a co-op survival game from BamBit about driving a school bus across a zombie-infested world locked in endless night. Loot the ruins, craft what you need, and upgrade the bus that keeps your crew of four alive: it's your home, storage, armory, and only way out, and it rolls into every new zone with you. BamBit is heading toward Steam Early Access in Q4 2026.
Switch locations any time. DDoS protection available.
ROUTE is built around a crew of four: up to 4-player online co-op with proximity voice chat, splitting the driving, fighting, and scavenging. Full server and hosting details haven't been announced yet.
BamBit has not announced dedicated server files or self-hosting support yet. Once hosting details are announced, Survival Servers plans to offer instant, hassle-free ROUTE server rentals.
ROUTE is zone-by-zone co-op survival: drive your bus through abandoned suburbs, ruined cities, farms, and choked-out highways, park and push on foot where the road ends, and reinforce, repair, and decorate the bus that carries your whole base into the next zone.
