What is The Gold River Project?
The Gold River Project is a cooperative survival camping adventure where you and up to 3 friends explore a remote nature reserve in the Pacific Northwest. What starts as an epic camping trip turns into a fight for survival as you uncover the mysteries of an experimental facility hidden in the wilderness. Manage health, hydration, hunger, fatigue, and temperature while crafting equipment, building campsites, and facing the challenges of Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons.

Early Access
The Gold River Project launched into Steam Early Access on January 23, 2026. Fairview Games expects Early Access to last 12 to 18 months, with the full version adding Winter season content, expanded story, additional wildlife, hostile factions, and enhanced systems.
