Conan Exiles Enhanced is the Unreal Engine 5 remaster of Conan Exiles, shipped by Funcom as a free upgrade on May 5, 2026. The dedicated server tool is rebranded "Conan Exiles Enhanced Dedicated Server" and runs the new Enhanced build. The original Legacy experience remains available through Steam's "Conan Exiles Legacy" beta branch for players and server admins who want to stay on the classic version.
Funcom's upgrade copies the Legacy game.db save database into the Enhanced game_0.db format on first startup. After that conversion, the upgrade is one-way — Enhanced saves do not roll back to Legacy. Isle of Siptah is no longer available as a separate Enhanced dedicated-server map, and Siptah-specific database files are not used by Enhanced, so private Siptah servers should back up and migrate characters to Exiled Lands before updating. Enhanced no longer launches Isle of Siptah as a separate dedicated-server map. Funcom's Enhanced server uses the merged Enhanced world, and Siptah-specific Legacy database files are not used by the Enhanced build.
