Explore a Valheim world before you settle
Enter a world seed and choose Generate map. Use Terrain for the landscape or Biomes for clear biome boundaries. Drag to pan, use the zoom buttons, and turn on the locations you want to see.
New seeds take about a minute for terrain, with landmarks following shortly after. Examples and previously generated maps open faster. Seeds are case sensitive: the same letters with different capitalization can produce a different world.
What does this map show?
This is a preview of a newly generated world in the supported game version shown above the map. It does not include your buildings, explored areas or players. Existing saves created in older versions, and worlds changed by mods, may differ.
Trader markers show candidate locations. Valheim selects which traders appear as players explore, so every marker will not become an active trader.

The map works with vanilla players. Some optional gameplay features require the mod on each player's PC.
