NeoForge is a mod loader for Minecraft Java Edition that split from Forge in 2023. On Minecraft 1.20.2 and newer, many large mods and modpacks are built for NeoForge. Use the loader your mods or modpack list on their download page.
Our plans run from 2 GB for up to 20 players to 16 GB for up to 160 players, 10 players per GB. A short mod list runs on 4 GB. For a big modpack, use the memory its download page recommends, often 8 GB or more. You can move up a plan from your order page at any time.
In most cases, no. Players need NeoForge and the same mods as the server, on the same Minecraft version. Sharing the modpack through a launcher like CurseForge or Modrinth is the easy way to do that.
We offer NeoForge for Minecraft 1.20.2 to the newest stable NeoForge release. Beta builds are left out. We check for new stable builds every morning, and you can switch versions from the Game Type menu in the panel.
Open the File Manager in your control panel, upload the mod .jar files to the mods folder, then restart the server. For a modpack, upload the mods and config files from its server pack the same way. Your server is backed up automatically, and you can restore a backup from the panel.
