Cubic Odyssey is an open-world adventure game from Atypical Games, released in May 2025, where you explore vibrant voxel-based planets, craft tools and vehicles, build bases, and fight the corrupting Red Darkness. The game combines exploration, crafting, combat, and base building in a procedurally generated universe, solo or in online co-op.

Q: Does Cubic Odyssey have dedicated servers?

Yes. Atypical Games released an official dedicated server in October 2025, currently in beta. Players join a server through the in-game server browser or by entering its lobby key (a code like DS-XXXXXX) over Epic Online Services, so there is no direct IP and port to connect to. Characters are saved on the server itself, and your progress stays with that world.

Q: When will Cubic Odyssey server hosting be available?

The developers released a beta dedicated server in October 2025, and we're evaluating hosting for it now. Join the notification list on this page and we'll email you the moment Cubic Odyssey servers go live at Survival Servers.

Q: How many players can join a Cubic Odyssey server?

The official beta dedicated server supports up to 20 players. Servers can be password protected, so you can keep a world private for your own group while everyone explores, builds, and fights the Red Darkness together.

When Cubic Odyssey hosting launches, we'll offer instant server setup, location switching across our global datacenters, full FTP access for world management, automated restarts, and DDoS protection for uninterrupted exploration.

Q: Will Cubic Odyssey servers support mods and custom content?

Cubic Odyssey added Steam Workshop support in November 2025 for sharing player creations, but it works client-side; the beta dedicated server has no server-side mod loading today. If the developers add server mod support, we'll update this page.
