These are the instructions for downloading the War of the Walkers mod for 7 Days to Die and getting it up and running on our game servers.

 
Download the Mod
 
First step is download the two sets of mods, both Server and Client versions.

Download the AXX EAC Standard Mod Github (SERVER) Download. (XX = version number) Find this file on your computer and place it in a folder labeled "Server Version". Extract the contents of this ZIP file, which will be a folder, to the "Server Version" folder. Download the AXX EAC Standard Mod Github (CLIENT/SP Local) Download. (XX = version number) Find this file on your computer and place it in a folder labeled "Client Version". Like Step #3, extract the main folder from the ZIP folder and place it in the "Client Version" folder. Placing the two folders in different folders will help separate which is which because both folders are named the same. Now on to FTP usage. FTPing the Server Version
 
You may found a download link for WinSCP here: http://winscp.net/eng/download.php To edit/upload/save/delete files via FTP, use the following method:
Stop your server from the control panel and wait for the page to reload. Log in to FTP using WinSCP (a free FTP software) using the connection details found in the "FTP Details" section of the game server control panel Find the folder that you extracted from the ZIP in the "Server Version" folder. Copy this over from your computer to the "root" (top level) directory of your game server. Once the file has copied over, open the contents of the folder and copy over the two folders, Data and Mod, into the top directory. You will be prompted if you wish to overwrite files. Answer "yes" to all. After uploading your files in the proper directories, restart your server from the panel Installing the Mod at Home
 
Once the server version has been uploaded, now the client (i.e your computer) needs to have the mod installed.
Open the folder named "Client Version" on your computer and copy the contents of WaroftheWalkersGitHub2-master. Navigate to your 7 Days to Die install folder on your computer. The default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die. Paste the contents of the WaroftheWalkersGitHub2-master folder from the first step into this folder. You will be prompted to confirm copying over existing files. There will be an option to say "yes to all". Do so.


  Start up your game and then connect to your server. If you've installed this correctly, you will see a fancy new HUD with the number of days in the top left, elevation and temperature markings on the bottom left along with other various stats, and a fancy skull directly to the right of those stats. If you see white boxes where the HUD should be and icons are not showing up for the new items, you will need to reinstall the client side version of the mod. Also, during my own testing with this mod, there was considerable lag in the game menu that cleared up after a few minutes.

Then run this admin command on your server -

Estimated time to complete mod orders for Arma game servers is on the order form.
 

 
The same applies to more complicated questions submitted as support tickets (like your infISTAR question)
 
We don't have a 24/7 team dedicated to Arma support, we have a specialist and those questions are not normal ticket queue tickets thus taking longer if Steven is not on shift.

I just need an updated detailed list of config options and launch parameters without having to spend hours trying ARK config/launch params and testing to see if they work. Not all of the old ARK settings work with DNL and there are some different ones as well. It's not cut and dry, and I simply do not have time to spend that amount of time reverse engineering DNL to figure it out. People can use the FTP option until there is some sort of well documented list of configuration/launch params out there.

The Deez Games community currently has 5 servers through Survival Servers, all located in Dallas, Tx.
 
We have game servers for Conan: Exiles, 2x Cluster Servers for ARK - Survival Evolved (The Center and Ragnarok Maps) and now, TWO Dark & Light servers!
 
Our community has Very Active Admins, an Active Discord channel, which you can get the information for from within any of our games (We don't post our discord outside of game)
 
We also have a YouTube channel that is currently in the process of expanding with additional YouTubers within our community. Because of this YouTube channel, and the potential for Streaming on our server, I do like to point this out as your character names and possibly steam names may be displayed in our Videos and streams(Your Steam Name is displayed in game above your character in some games,) so we want people to be aware of this ahead of time.
 
Our rates for all servers stay close to vanilla, however rates that we consider unreasonable (Like Taming in ARK) have been increased a bit.
 
Rates on our servers are as follows.
 
Conan - 1.5x XP
 
ARK - 1.5x XP, 3x Taming, Boosted Breeding (Rates not listed as there's too many minor changes), and several Engram changes to reduce early costs for aesthetic items and prerequisite items that don't otherwise get used beyond that prereq.
 
D&L - 1 Vanilla server, and 1 with boosted rates, though we are looking at changing Taming slightly once major updates level out a little, as the game is still a bit too new to make major changes without establishing the baseline properly.
 
It should be noted that we are very much a Community, and our servers all are PvE because of this. We chat about our lives in Discord, and just generally consider everyone in the community to be friends. We are a large community with a small community mindset in that regard.
 
Our servers are nearly 100% crowd funded, so our community must think we're doing something right. =)

READ FIRST! Quick fix check list:
IF THE SERVER BROWSER IS NOT SHOWING YOUR SERVER: Use the Steam browser to find your game server. To find that, right-click Steam icon in your task bar and click Servers, then filter for ARK: Survival Evolved. Use your QueryPort (Port + 1) when adding to favorites. Check this thread for more details. Wait at least 5 minutes after launching your game server to see it in the server list. If your server won't update to the latest version, Check this thread for more details. If it doesn't load after 15 minutes, your game server might be crashing. Check this thread for more details. Server won't start, I click Start and it does nothing

Server version shows as ??? in the control panel and/or missing version in DNL server list
 
Your hostname is too long. Your hostname can be 64 characters max - 8 characters where DNL appends the version string to the suffix = 56 characters long.
 
I am missing files from a new installation, how do I get the game files?
 
Simply run an "Server Update" from the control panel.

Seeing a white screen or 500 Internal Server Error?
 
This one must be handled via support ticket. We apologize for any inconvenience here. We will get you fixed up as fast as we can and credit you for downtime.
 
Wiping Saved Data (Fresh Start)
Stop your server Log in to your server via FTP. You can read a guide on how to connect to FTP here. Navigate to the /DNL/Saved/ folder and delete the SavedDnL folder Start your server. Saving Your SavedArks Data to your Home PC

Sleeping Bag (Scheduled to be addressed in next patch, will update once confirmed fixed.)
After use, pick the sleeping bag up and place it back down. It both restores its durability, and allows you to use it again. If you do not do this, the sleeping bag will not retain the sleep action functionality.
 
Bed - Broken Mechanic. (Related to above - Scheduled to be addressed in next patch, will update once confirmed fixed.)
bed doesn't seem to work because you can't pick it up after the first use. best off using sleeping bag until this is fixed
 
Graphical errors in the Skybox (tested by two of our players having this issue so far.)
If you are having an issue where there are random pink, green, blue ect. colored lights in the sky, turn the sky quality option down to halfway and save your settings. Then, restart the game completely and it should be fixed.
 
Autosave Feature Not Working
If your autosave feature is not working, turn it off as well as the auto-restart feature to prevent the loss of character data.
This is not a "complete" fix, as it does not restore functionality to the broken mechanic, but it does provide an important countermeasure.
You will need to manually enter the world save admin function before then manually restarting your server each time if you are affected by this issue.
 
ARKON Compatability
The ARKON application is a valuable tool for ARK server owners, and it's compatibility with D&L makes it exceptionally versatile.
However, it wouldn't be in this list if there weren't known issues.
The Password for your D&L server can not have special characters in it, as ARKON has issues with these characters, including the Ampersand (&). In order to get it to connect properly, simply change your server admin password to something that does not have special characters in it, update your ARKON to match, and you're golden!
 
Password Protected Server
When joining a password protected server, the Accept button is not currently working, and you Must hit Enter to confirm.
 
Server Not Listed In The In-Game Server List Since The Last Patch. (Update: Fixed 07/26 - See https://twitter.com/...243956386050048 for details.)
You will need to access the FTP with a program such as WinSCP, you can find information on how to do this with a quick google search if you are new to FTP programs and their function.
Shutdown the Server.
Create a text file named "steam_appid.txt" (no quotes) in "..\DNL\Binaries\Win64\".
Write "529180" (no quotes) in the File.
 
To clarify; steam_appid.txt is what you are naming the file.
Then open it and write 529180
Save it, resync the ftp, then your'e good to go.

This has been fixed. A save from the Modify Server Config tool will fix.

I have purchased servers from other sites before but nobody has the easy to use interface and features your service provides. Oh sorry, I misread. Here's what you are looking for (in the Advanced Launch Params red button on the control panel)
 

Here's a little guide on how to whitelist admin Steam64 IDs.
 
Get your list of Steam64 IDs you would like to automatically admin your server upon logging in. It should be one Steam64 id per line. To find out the Steam64 id, you can use this website resource Stop your server from the control panel Log in to your server via an FTP client - here's a great guide on how to do that Navigate to \ShooterGame\Saved\ Create a new file here called AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt Paste the content of your list here and save Start your server and you should all have auto admin!

Fixed. This was the SteamCMD option that fixed it.

Fixed. I ran a steamcmd clear and re-updated the server. Looks like a corrupted update.

did you use any main creatures mod? like annunaki or eternal. they change creatures classname
