Apems, I think Maevrim is right and you might be better off asking over on Steam.
 
But, I tried getting speed up on crafting too, set it back today when my server finally came up. I think I read it's one of the funny ones, one if you set the number higher, it gets slower and think I read something like a .3 or a .1 would be faster. But again, it might be turned off for now.
 
It's like all this time I keep reading about shield damage, people keeping more than one in their inventory, and I thought, then why don't I ever have to repair mine. You have to use the right mouse button to use the shield, it isn't an auto thing, apparently. My encumbrance is going to be less now, lol. There is a learning curve to all of this and then they'll change it ;p

Yeah, it's on a dedicated server and using the scroll goes to 10 max. But it still seems really slow to even cook meat. The slider in the in game admin adds ItemConvertionMultiplier=X to the ServerSettings.ini
You have the value reversed. 1.0 is default and 2.0 makes it take twice as long, 10.0 is 10x longer.

Try 0.1 instead.

I know it's confusing because it says "speed", so higher should logically mean faster, but what it actually is is a multiplier so higher means longer craft times. Last edited by Ancient; Feb 2 @ 1:09pm

These forums are here for people telling their stories about their servers, so they will get the help they need .
there is no need too act childish towards people that are just letting out their frustrations on these forums. 
And this guy is right its beyond ridiculous now my server has been down since saturday without being started up even ONCE , Stopped and unknown status only.

Some people drink the coolaid that others try and sell them.
 
I have several Conan dedicated servers. One of them was hosted by Survival Servers. This server has been up for 6 hours stable during the last 4 days.
 
My other servers hosted by other companies which I will not name here, are perfect. Do not crash, have no issues, no CPU spikes. I also have tools that monitor CPU activity for my other servers and I really do not see anything abnormal.
 
The issue is, other companies actually if you notice when you go to purchase a server, they will say, not available. Because they leave overhead of 20% so that their current customers are not impacted. Some companies will easily over commit and over deploy even though they really should not. They say things like, the customer deals with lag here and there its ok.
 
Survival Servers really has the wrong model and bad administration practices which lead to an entire breakdown of their service. They are one of the cheapest providers, I got a 60 slot server for 37$ a month, that is basically cheaper then all of the industry. Good thing about being cheap is, you get a lot of people requesting servers, the bad part is, you do not have the infrastructure to actually deal with the increased demand and overhead. And it takes days and even weeks to climb out of a provisioning hole, I know. I manage virtual infrastructure at a very large company.
 
Now take Conan Exiles, non-optimized alpha code, this requires even more resources, throw those servers on the same hosts with other servers like Ark, and now you have a real big problem, one service is affecting another service.
 
Reality is; Survival Servers is NOT fixing any bug with the Conan Exiles game or with their servers, maybe their custom management software needs a fix, but overall, they are ordering and provisioning new virtual hosts so they can deal with the expanded load, while doing damage control to keep whatever customers they have.
 
I think the estimated time Wednesday is the day they hope to have some new hosts online to balance out the load.
 
Another thing happened, they started throwing servers on the same IP space, this brought up a new Funcom Conan bug, with servers sharing the same IP space that had to be fixed. My other servers have dedicated IP, when I query my survival server, 4 other servers show up using my same IP space. This actually prevents you using DNS to your own server for short names.
 
My Survival Server has been in stopped state for 2 days. Nothing wrong with it. FTP data looks very normal. The ONLY reasons its not able to be started is because it is admin locked. If they start my server which is a 60 slot server, they feel it will crash the host, this is due to the fact that they overcommitted my host.

I think it's very unprofessional to continue renting new servers out apparently knowing they won't run. I know my server has been in unknown status and locked with staff intervention for well over 24 hours and the forums are full of people with this same excuse that have bought their server since long after mine went down. At least stop taking more peoples money till you take care of the customers you already have.

That's just not right.

Ya well, I ran out of beer 5 minutes ago and I had 4 for breakfast, so now I gots to wake up the girlfriend to drive me to the beer store and hear about it for longer then the servers will be down, even if they have to import parts from China. This is when I start to make bad decisions and all because I can't look at a naked thrall, we don't have strip clubs here. I have a bad taste in my mouth too, lack of beers. ;p

No, I don't. Saw your post but it is painful, and iffy, to get this site to function right now.
 
I don't have a lot of exp with hosts, but a little from playing ARK early access. I had two hosts, the first you had to know ini, config stuff, the second I did not. I kept the second. Service wasn't real good at the start, with either. Bugs, early access, lag, rubberbanding (same as now, only it was worse with ARK) Do not expect AAA rated game service right off the bat, just get it out of your head now. I don't have a clue what happened as of now, we will hear from them in time and each will decide what to do.
 
I sent in one ticket here, said up to 24 hours for a reply, that is a turn off, but I fixed the problem by reading here, myself. I have the lowest ping I have ever had for any game yet, with them. The little down time I have had, due to black screen restarts and server disconnects was solved by restarting server here, which up until today was easy and fast. Rates are good. I made a suggestion here in the forums for the control panel and it was done within 5 freaking minutes, no lie. I still am aghast, lol. I'm not ready to jump ship yet, but I may own another server before the day is out.

I don't want a refund, nor do I want to abandon this host-- but I would greatly, as would the rest of the customer base, appreciate feedback. Even if it was every few hours, or perhaps an ETA? I would be content with; "It'll be back online within 48-72 hours." At least then I can have some solace in this entire ordeal.

Everything is slow, main web page, this site, trying to restart server, which still hasn't worked. DDOS attack? Over 2 hours into trying to get server up and... well I'm here and not playing.

Missing ServerSettings.ini lines in Modify Config. 
Some of these I know for a fact were there at launch when I set them now they are removed and no longer in my .ini and I have to manually place them.
