Rickymac666 reacted to Andrew Toth in Is there a way to save your dedicated server world locally to your pc?
    Step 1: Download WinSCP
Step 2: Copy the FTP URL in the server control panel (top right corner)
Step 3: Paste the FTP URL in the WinSCP FTP address box
Step 4: highlight the 000000.db and 000000.fwl and click download.  The 000000 is a 6 digit number that represents the world save file name.  It will probably be like 140400 or something in that range.
Step 5: You now have saved the dedicated world file to your PC!

I purchased a server yesterday and it won't start. I would like some assistance at least getting it started please. I believe I have filled in every field and have hit restart 3 times and start multiple times but still nothing. It just says stopped.
    FIXED, THANKS

Also to add a point of additional clarity we have yet to see what happens when Valheim is updated and how this mod will affect save data. So we're still at the very least waiting for the next server-side update to see what happens to servers that have heavily utilized the mod for server save assets and how that will impact on each update.

Rickymac666 got a reaction from Nick in Are there ADMIN commands or Console?
Also if anyone needs access to more admin commands, there's a handy client sided mod called "SkToolbox" on Nexus mods. It allows you to use the commands that aren't whitelisted for multiplayer such as flying, give item, and spawn commands and you don't need to add it to the server via ftp, just the client on your PC.
