Gingerale 1 Report post Posted July 26, 2015 We're checking into why the new ARK update broke the Start/Stop/Restart button. I was finally able to fix my problem. Here is what I did: -Backed up my entire "Saved" Folder -Cleared all launch parameters -Migrated to new server -Once new server is "ready to join", stop it. -Deleted the new "Saved" folder, and replaced it with my backup. -Navigate to Shootergame/Saved/SavedArk****/ Delete or rename the following: AntiCorruptionBackup, FailedandRestored, NewLaunchBackup -Refresh your control panel, load from a backup that exists BEFORE you performed the v189 upgrade. -Add your launch parameters -Cry tears of joy. Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted July 26, 2015 That is not necessary and not advised for a fix. What basically has been happening is the Steam servers are being overloaded and could not acquire the files properly resulting in failed downloads. This is really a Steam issue and not on our end. It has been resolved and I haven't had an issue (yet) when ARK updating. I am locking this thread and future discussion about not updating should be discussed here: https://www.survivalservers.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1423-ark-not-updating-properly-to-the-latest-version/
