  1. Sorry, wasn't intending to come across as a douche, my players get all antsy too when anything bad (in game or server related) happens and I have to constantly remind them "EARLY ACCESS, THINGS BREAK, DEAL WITH IT OR WAIT UNTIL FULL RELEASE" That's actually a really good idea. There may be some specific reason why they haven't implemented that. Regardless, suggest it! I have suggested a few things in support tickets and they have listened really well to everything I had to offer
  2. Steam/Survivalservers servers get hammered and dont respons to every request when updates get pushed out. Everyone trying to all download at the same time. If you played GTAV back when it launched on 360/ps3 or any other large-scale online game, you know what i'm talking about.
  3. Perhaps it would be wise of you to remind your players that you are hosting an early access title, and as such..updates happen very frequently, and every update the steam servers get overloaded. Until the dev cycle slows down this will be an ongoing issue. If you keep trying it will work, with no intervention by survivalservers staff needed.
  4. After a while mine popped up as joinable, I think it's displaying "stopped" as it's updating/rebooting? Throw out a support ticket! Response is very fast right now.
  5. I agree it is frustrating, however this is an early access title. Problems are bound to arise. That is what the support ticket system is for. If you have a problem with the way things are, perhaps you should build your own server platform, or wait until the official release.
  6. Server 7564 Here, Tried to update to v200 and is stuck on stopped, There are a few others having the same problem, as seen in this thead: https://www.survivalservers.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1841-attempted-update-server-stuck-in-stopped-state/ Will be submitting a support ticket, just wanted to raise awareness! hopefully this gets fixed soon
  7. I think they may have to be online for it to work... I know currently you cannot ban someone unless they are online
  8. Would this be possible? It's very cumbersome right now to try to edit the launch parameters on that small tiny line. Is there any way you guys could make it about twice as long and a few rows taller? Currently my parameters consists of 615 characters... That is a lot to fit on that tiny line.
  9. I was finally able to fix my problem. Here is what I did: -Backed up my entire "Saved" Folder -Cleared all launch parameters -Migrated to new server -Once new server is "ready to join", stop it. -Deleted the new "Saved" folder, and replaced it with my backup. -Navigate to Shootergame/Saved/SavedArk****/ Delete or rename the following: AntiCorruptionBackup, FailedandRestored, NewLaunchBackup -Refresh your control panel, load from a backup that exists BEFORE you performed the v189 upgrade. -Add your launch parameters -Cry tears of joy.
  10. I was finally able to fix my problem. Here is what I did: << Snip, please do not try this fix >>
  11. Worked for me, except when I choose to restore from a backup I get the same infinite load.... This is seriously messed up. I'm going to lose all my players at this rate....
  12. yep, join the club. https://www.survivalservers.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1423-ark-not-updating-properly-to-the-latest-version/page-5
