how long does it take before you can view the server in the control panel because it still says and its been around 1 hour now, i still cant see it in there, and i cant join it or anything because i dont know the IP

Active task is running Your game server is currently working on task "start" which started 07/17/2020 19:05:15 PST. Control panel functionality will be limited until this task is completed. Any ideas how to atleast restart the server? It bugged a little. It says server is live but it's not and it still has task note. Can't do anything coz panel is locked and I scheduled start of my server today for the community lol. -

An Intro. My son said he'd like a Minecraft server. I rented a 4GB 2CPU instance yesterday using the Ubuntu Minecraft 1.15.2 image, I put the UFW firewall up and opened both TCP and UDP to the default game and rcon ports, enabled rcon, gave it a password. I've allowed 200 players, he wants to get his school playing. I changed the systemd start command to give 3GB to the java run line and it now says ExecStart=/usr/bin/screen -DmS mc-%i /usr/bin/java -Xmx3G -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui I do not know the slightest bit about gameplay, when I log in I just stand there, dig a hole and fall in. The boy can repeat what I did to build the server now that he's seen it done. So, I can rcon in with linux mcrcon and /op the boy, he knows what to do with the op status. I can list and see him. He can play. All of that works. Will his op status continue past a reboot or do I have to do something more? Is the hardware going to handle 200 players? I have no idea when to scale anything. Where do I look for mods? He says there's mods. I'm wary about security and about who writes them but that's just ignorance. What would I like to have known once I know more. Is there a performance implication? Is it true that only people with java edition can use the server? Only people running 1.15.2? It makes no difference whether they're on android, linux, Mac or Microsoft Windows™?

I purchased a new server about 40min ago (7:45PM CST). It shows as Active on the Order page but does not have a Game ID and does not show up in the Game Servers heading on the Control Panel. I assumed I fell into the 15min setup window. Just curious on how long it will actually take. And I have opened a ticket as well.

I purchased an ARK server about an hour ago and it finished the "new" setup, however when I press start i get a "please wait" message then the screen refreshes and the status of the server is still stopped. Any Ideas?????

I found this server on ark ps4. In the process of making, LAND, SEA & AIR Arenas. The idea will be a normal server, with a bit of a twist. Level up your dinos, and get them ready to be crowned champion of the Arena. 2 ways to get special gear. Random drops & Winning in the Arena. More information will be coming soon about the 3 Arena's being built and the rules of the Arenas. The Question is will you be strong enough to win and be crowned champion of the Arena? Server is called Battle Arena im pretty excited to start training up some dinos and seeing where this server goes! Think it will be fun seeing it grow from the start.

So I'm sitting here trying to make FTP work, and I finally find out how to, only to realize that the password doesn't work. Tried to connect to the server, but I'm getting a "critical error". Says the username is authorized, but not the password. You can see all the info in the attached screenshot. Can you please take a look into this. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to modify my Conan Exiles The Purge server settings (https://conanexiles.gamepedia.com/The_Purge) however I was unable to locate these in Control Panel's Modify Server Configuration tools. The Conan Exiles The Purge server variables are detailed here: https://conanexiles.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration#Purge I clicked on the ServerSettings.ini button that opened a new browser tab with the text file contents but I was unable to edit this file, only view it. The Purge server variables: Enable Purge, Purge Level, Purges per day, etc were not defined in the ServerSettings.ini file at all. Please advise how I can modify The Purge Settings to avoid causing undesirable events starting that will negatively affect our Conan survival server. Best regards, Jason

Does anyone know if there is a server setting for disabling AI crew payments? I'd love to be able to leave my AI crew on the ship for a few days without worrying about mutiny or losing them.

I wanted to ask, since ATLAS is so similar to ARK, will there be a configuration tool / page eventually in the server CP like the ARK servers here at Survival Servers have? I'm surprised that there isn't one already to be honest since most of the structure is there already. It was really convenient when I had an ARK Server. Thanks, Merx

I attempt to start the server and nothing happens? I attempt to launch the server and it says server not responding? I'm trying to figure out what is going on and why all of a sudden the server wont go live any longer? Thanks for any help on this.

Hello, myself and others on my server have been trying to log onto our Ark server, but it is stuck in a "Stopped" state and will not start. I have already submitted a ticket. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
