Conan Exiles devs design how the game works on a server. Survival Servers has no control what a patch does to the server once a new patch is released. Survival Servers dont create the file structure on the server nor how it operates on their servers. A hosting company is there to host your hardware and server instance and provide connection to the internet. They have to pivot and mitigate the issues that patches cause. Game related and server related issues usually go hand in hand. Server infrastructure is pretty straight forward.

Hardware issues doesnt just mean server hardware issues. It could be a router. Routers handle Public NAT IPs. Being your server IPs. If that device has hardware issues they are most likely moving your server instance to a different router. Switching IPs doesnt mean your in a different datacenter. The server wipes have occurred from corrupt database issues which is a designed by the Conan Exiles devs.

Acris, Port 21. DDoS is a Distributed Denial of Service which is probably not occurring. If you are using the password that was generated for your FTP. You will need to change it and restart the server. This will need to be done when they are not having issues with servers of course. This will allow you to access the FTP.

Make sure your server and local client are up to date. If they are I had the issue when trying to join servers from the Steam Servers window, but when accessing from in game server list I was able to get in.

After I perform a Clean save folder on the server. I see in the FTP the backups are not listed anymore, but on the SS CPanel it still shows them in the list? Is this normal?

Had an issue with my server not loading up to current. It basically loaded 6 hours before when I logged off last night. Looks like my current backup is at that same spot also. When I log after an extended amount of play should I just stop the server so it automatically saves, because it seems as though it didnt save correctly at all last night.. Anyway I could get those 6 hours of gameplay back on the server? I feel as if I need to completely wipe and start fresh, but I would like not having to do that as there are other people who play on this server that would not appreciate it.

SS tweeted out message regarding Dallas datacenter. This is where my issues were coming from. "Transferring customers off 45.35.132.86 today due to a hardware issue. Yep... I did not have the Staff Intervention Locked message, but I am in the same boat and back to Unknown again after the support tech told me it should be resolved.

There is not an automatic backup option within the SS Control panel at this point that I have seen. From looking in my current backups that I can restore. It looks that the server is backed up every 7 hours.

Already opened ticket, but curious if this is wide spread. Server was showing online and ready in control panel at 5:00 PM CST when I left work. Noticed they pushed another update. I have tried running server update/validate. Modify server tool to try and force a restart, but it is still in an unknown status. The page doesnt seem likes it trying to start the server at all as the web page refreshes pretty quick. As when youre running an update it takes 5-10 minutes before there is a refresh of the webpage.

Thanks for putting in the time to get this one going. Definitely will help with duplicate posts. Hopefully Ryan will pin this one. Some other worthwhile suggestions to add that ive seen since the start of this forum. 1. BattleEye activation 2. PvE vs PVP settings 3. Fixing Invalid version 4. Unable to login to FTP (Change original generated FTP password, Restart server) 5. Saving server configs/backup/restore

Hello, I can tell you from my experience last night that that you want to make sure all of your friends and yourself have updated the game via Steam. Also run server update with the option "Yes, run update/validate" If your local game client is upgraded through Steam and your server version is valid they should be able to join. Also what I did to verify this is. 1. Update Conan Exiles via Steam on local computer. 2. Run update on server. 3. Go to server listing screen in-game. 4. Click show invalid servers. 5. Search for your server specifically. Eventually your server will show. If it is listed as invalid Rinse and repeat steps. I did this for about 30 minutes and it was ready to go. 4 people have been in my server for 10 hours each now with no issues.

Weird. I keep getting a password error even though I am using the password which is shown in the control panel. Possible I need to change it and restart server for it to stick..

Submit tickets with screenshot if you are encountering this. Any sort of information will help Survival Servers correct this issue if it is on their side.
