Sorry to hear that T... That's kind of why I set March 1st as my go live date as given all of the possible issues on both sides, vendor and developer, it would be best for stability. Plus it lets me line out my rules and the type of community Inwanted to build so fortunately this doesn't affect me much, but really sorry to hear how it is effecting yours.

I am having problems as well now starting. Been hung in 'starting' state for the past 45 minutes. Opened a ticket though.

Update the server so I can connect Bennie . NM no longer getting the incompatible version now getting a pasword screen .

Go to server settings in your client after connecting, click make me an admin, enter the admin password. All of the settings should appear now in that window and you should be able to change it there without needing to restart the server. That is actually a better way to do it than through the SS control panel.

Eh it happens I figure we'll have to restart every couple of months anyways due to patching.

Well it could have had something to do with my son exiting the game stuck in a floor. All I know is that with the old save I even had problems starting the server, bout half the time it would fail to start and just hang halfway through.

Just found out my save was broken by today's patch. If after updating your server you are having problems connecting or functioning in general you may have to erase your save folder by selecting the option in the control panel and restarting your server. Once I did that everything worked fine. Welcome to early access.

Have you looked in the server settings window in game?

Got to add the rest of Benny's stuff to it and clean it up a bit but that will have to wait till after work.

Use the Steam server list under View -> servers.

I have also noticed it also depends on what you have going in the background and the CPU affinity. My wife whose computer is identical to mine get absolutely no lag or freezing, I get it all the time. I suspect it is due to the antivirus and anti malware I have running in the background and haven't taken the time to turn off and test.

Then you need to ask her 'But then how and I supposed to murder you while you sleep and take all your stuff?' That shoud win you some points.
