you can always ftp in and download the save files. easiest way to transfer is if you have a cluster setup you can just upload to obelisk. Other than that I would say you would need to make a backup, upload everything to the obelisk, change the map, go to the obelisk and download everything. You would need to make sure allow tribute downloads is allowed.

some of the files are already there if you check your ftp server there is a genesis folder. I would imagine some got loaded while others will still be patched when the update goes live. much like when you pre-load a game you buy there is always a day 1 patch.

As Reaper said don't delete anything at all. I use RCON to save my server before update I just do a saveworld from the rcon client and update.

I would try having them add it through the steam browser not the in-game one. Or you can always go on the server and have them choose friends from the server list and it will show them the one your on.

You have to do enablecheats youradminpassword If it doesn't work then you don't have an admin password set in your Ini. Or like Geoffry mentioned make the AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt file. I find that is much easier so you don't have to enter your password every time you connect.

Questions to ask are how long ago did you start it, what version of Ark is it running? Sometimes if the server is just started it might not be visible in the ingame server browser and you have to add it through the steam server browser. Which you access by right clicking your steam icon in the taskbar and choosing the servers option. If it is running an older version of the server that will also keep people from connecting and you would need to run Ark update.

Pretty sure it auto bills the credit card you used to purchase the server in the first place. Barring that log into your account, click my account and see if auto bill is enabled. If it is then you have nothing to worry about. If it isn't then you will get an option to pay it under invoices I believe. I have mine on auto bill so not sure on manual payments.

I have mine set to 1 and I get level 120 wild dinos. So I think max is still 1 and it is just somewhere between 0 and 1 that determines the difficulty with 1 being 4x harder.

it might be that you are carrying it out to many digits. I know for most options you don't need that many 0's For instance 2.0 would suffice just fine. or even 2 If you are doing lower than one you would need 0.5 for instance but there is no need for 5 0's on each number. My taming speed multiplier is simply 5 not 5.000000

I have mine set to 1 and run into level 100+ regularly. As far as I know the difficulty offset only changes the max level of wild dinos and nothing else. And I see 70+'s right after an update as it is completely random. EDIT: I do all my settings via INI and not command line.

Haven't had to open a ticket yet so I am very pleased. Stable server aside from some rubber banding but other than that rock solid. A great experience so far.

Setting the time for auto restarts instead of just a range. IE set it to restart at 4:00 am instead of 24 hours from when I last restarted it. Also automated save and server broadcast at restart. IE auto save world, do a server announcement that the world is coming down for a reboot, the reboot it. Not sure if the message is possible but the setting the exact time and the auto save before restart would rock.

I just turned off auto restarts and manually do it every day now when no one is on to update. I did have an issue where I could not get the world to save even with the commands the other day for some reason. I have not tried it yet since the update to 177 since I haven't rebooted today. I really wish they would give us an option to change the delay though. Oh and for the auto restarts let us choose a time instead of just a range. IE I can tell mine to reboot every morning.
