Please try setting the encryption to plain FTP and see if you still spot this problem. If so please send a ticket in with us and we can take a look at the back end system.
If you would like to send me your ticket number I can double check. I am currently not seeing any active tickets in our system. Your reply may of been sent to your spam box in your email.
Within the FTP client in the /Saves/GameType/My Game folder you should see a player folder. Within that you will find all the player data for each player.
I do not think the logs currently output that data sadly. You might check to see if there is a mod plugin to help with this. However by default it does not list that data.
If you are still seeing this issue please submit a ticket and we can dive into the back end server box to see what could be preventing your server from launching.
Sometimes you will want to run the update/validate on the panel. If it does not help with running the update let us know in a ticket reply and we can check the back end for any errors.
This is mostly to prevent multiple updates from being run and to show the server is going through an update process. However if the page times out or you exit it can lock it in task lock status. Which we can help get unlocked for you.
