Server Auto Kick(client contain invalid PBO)

I can't log into my server since 1.04 dropped. I know this is the game's problem, the server runs fine, I'm just here to discuss and see if anybody else experiencing the same problem as me.

 

Every time when I try to log into my server, I got kicked out automatically with a message: "You were kicked off the game (Client contains PBO which is not part of server data)" 

 

I tried deleting all files in Addons in my game directory and run a file verification to renew the files, that didn't work. So, I delete all the files in Addons on the server and upload those new files I just got from verification to the server; that did not work. I then delete all the files in dta, got the renewed files then upload them into the server and still not working...finally I set the verifySignatures = 0 but still getting kicked out from the game every time I tried to join the server...

 

Looked like 1.04 really broke something... I felt like I already tried everything I know and I just ran out of ideas, there is a guy posted the problem under DayZ's FB account but he hasn't got any official response yet. I also checked on those two topics in steam community and one on Reddit but so far seems like nobody has figured out a solution for this yet...

 

Not only me but also most of my friends all got the same kind of problem when they tried to log into my server, we really want to play the game. So if anyone of you have any idea or anything you would suggest me to do, I will try it.

The error "Client contains PBO which is not part of server data" is from not having the proper key files for all of the addons added into the "Keys" folder! In 1.04 BI changed bikeys, most mod developers resigned their addons with the new version. So do a double check and make sure all of the new addon keys have been added!

Setting verifySignatures = 0 is a good bypass to this, however you need to make sure you edited the correct serverDZ.cfg (edit the one in the admin folder), then when starting the server make sure you check the "Skip Save Config" one time toggle each time you start the server!

I just fixed this for myself, same exact issue. Browse to the DayZ game installation folder and find the folder marked "dta" and "addon". Inside those look for any '.pbo' files that have a different date than the one from the game installation and delete them. I had the game installed for nearly three years my files were easy to spot. Hope this helps.

Edit: Another way is to delete the 'dta' and 'addon' folder completely then have steam verify file integrity to download the missing pieces.
