Unable to Disable Battleye

With the new update, as per https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/topic/8982-pc-patch-notes-current-v2530-upcoming/the BattlEye setting no longer works because now you have to disable it explicitly. So until the interface for servers is updated, we need  -NoBattlEye to be used instead of whatever is in there now.

So this was caused by the latest patch, as per the patch notes:

  • BattlEye is now enabled by default for dedicated servers, use -NoBattlEye to run your server without it

So what this means, is that we simply have to wait for SS to add that string.  Normally, I'd expect this fairly quickly.. but seeing as how it is so close to the holidays, I am slightly concerned. I was really hoping to play over the weekend.

I had submitted a ticket, and the good people are working hard and fast to fix it, and there will likely be an update to the advanced panel settings menu to fix this.

Thanks everyone working hard so close to the holidays!

Tried various ways of putting -NoBattleye into the command line parameters myself without any success before I gave up and found this thread. I guess the idea is something else in SurvivalServers setup is overriding it even if you put this in? So we can't do anything until SurvivalServers makes an adjustment?

I know.  Me and my friends were hoping to play tonight, but its looking less and less likely. But I have faith they are working as hard as they can. Remember, they are probably running on a skeleton crew right now. It is Christmas Eve Eve.
