Any modifications of a pbo file result in being unable to join server.

I am currently working on modifying my dayz overpoch server, and have followed every precaution when modifying my pbo files. I have followed support instructions about what programs to use to unpack edit and repack pbo files with. as well as what ftp programs to be using. Every time even when I only adjust the difficulty of an AI mission through the dzms config files which are set up to be straight forward and easy to figure out, and I try to upgrade a difficulty of a mission in dzms from a 1 to a 2 and can't login. I try to change the display message of a mission and my server has a hissy fit. I really need to know what is going on with that.... or is it set up so I have to pay for every piece of work I want done even work I can do myself.

Go to your control panel. Under FTP details you'll see the IP and other information. Click on the IP. New page pops up. Click on admin. Click on arma2oaserver.RPT. Scroll to the bottom and that's where you find why your server isn't running properly.

All those .sqf not found files is your problem. So far it's all in your server pbo. Your pathes are not called correctly or the path is there but the folders/files are missing.

So you're telling me you don't have any folders in your server pbo called CustomBuildings? That's one of the biggest problems that I see. You may not be packing the pbo's correctly either. If it's a brand new server I would suggest change your mod then change it back thus wiping the server giving you that fresh install. Then add your WAI from there if that's the only modification that you made. If you paid Survival Servers to install mods for you, you will have to submit a support ticket to them to have it fixed.

I have a bunch of custom mods on my server from them, that I had pre-installed. I am trying to add a couple of my own, that I wanted to save the money on because they are easy enough to install.

Reinstall the mission and server pbo's that they sent you, check your rpt for errors. If no errors, install WAI. Check for errors again. If you get errors, you're doing something wrong.

Yee Haw and off to the races with modifications now. added WAI, got in better patrols and such in DZMS and gonna possibly add in EMS, working on adding right click flip vehicle script, dunno yet.
