If you change the advanced launch parameters on the A2 server to always spawn the fountain of youth I've confirmed that it will show up on the southeast island.  It's in a cave near a shipwreck on the southern side of the island.

would be cool if they made you map the default lots more fun. 

Yeah I think out of all the Maps this is Defo the more Balanced & fun to play, Only prob is you need 4 servers lol....

Im still running the 1st one and we have not even made it out of 0,1 yet there is so much to explore. You have done a great job on this.

Grid 4 was changed, main island was moved to the center so it didnt overlap the corner.. Code that was updated was the epicspawns & some of the serverdata was changed too....thats why I left the old file there cos youd need to restart I think in order to use the updated version... It mentions somewhere that Islands cant overlap & after checking a site that has greened all the Islands out I figured it was a bit to close... It shouldnt cause an issue but to be 100% sure it was re arranged...
 
Compare the main jpeg for all 4 grids & youll see what is different..

Theres more land but you still need to sail yes.. it depends on what your after.. 30 mins to an hour sailing around blasting NPCs yes.. 30 mins from island to island No.. unless your on a raft lol.. ive tried to balance resources to water so you have both in a 2x2 square.. youll either like it or you wont.. only way to find out is do a backup & try.. or not

We'll be able to respond back to you if this is possible or if we're limited on your idea because of other dependencies such as the game developers, security, etc...
 
I'll be updating this thread's ideas in this thread as well as adding polling options to gauge popularity and demand for particular items/functionality.

i figured it out for anybody who is having trouble i stole this from atlas forums and it worked immediately

I removed the URLs from the  ServerGrid.json using Notepad++ , you can just use notpad ..
 "MapImageURL": "http://arkdedicated.com/atlaspreview.jpg",
 "MetaWorldURL": "http://atlasdedicated.com/xkvLAefEmYagICAfkDqknUIceSobwBma/ServerGrid",
so they look like
 "MapImageURL": "",
 "MetaWorldURL": "",
Works fine for me ...
For some reason, the latest version map editor when removing those URLs in the server edit, didnt actually remove them from the  ServerGrid.json
Doing this will force it to use the cached version of the image which is accurate, but if you wipe the server, it will show in server info screen as explored until you login so it will update"
 
no idea why this worked but it did immediately
