  1. Umm.. I was just on or Ark server with a friend flying around on my Wyvern and we get a message that the server is going to stop any second, and boom, it went down. A one second warning? What is going on? I don't even know what is going to happen when it comes back up because I was flying next to the wild Wyvern 'scar' on Ragnarok. "Staff intervention". I'm thinking more of a warning would be in order in the future.

    Staff intervention One of our staff members is currently intervening on your server. You may not start, stop, restart, or update your game server until the intervention lock is removed. This could be due to one of your open support tickets or maintenance on the machine your game server is located on.

    Er.. any idea how long this is going to take?

  3. When I first switched over to survivalservers.com I setup the Bronto on Ragnarok to spawn less via your control panel GUI "Dinosaur Spawn Configuration". I noticed at the time that instead of using the "DinoNameTag", you were using the "Entity ID". Well now after a couple of months I feel I can say with a fair amount of confidence, Entity ID on Ragnarok doesn't work. The Bronto's, or if I use the Entity ID, "Sauropod_Character_BP_C", are quite numerous no matter what I set spawnweight and spawnlimit to. Tonight I decided to remove my change and instead FTP in and open Game.ini and type in "Bronto" for the DinoNameTag and it appears to be working.

    I mention that I've only run Ragnarok and for all I know using the Entity ID works fine on other maps, but does not appear to work on Ragnarok. Here is what wasn't working..

    DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag="Sauropod_Character_BP_C",SpawnWeightMultiplier=1,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=True,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.05)

    this is what IS working..

    DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag="Bronto",SpawnWeightMultiplier=1,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=True,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.05)

    Thought I'd pass this on so it can maybe be investigated or to help anyone if they are having any issues. And if I'm wrong, then I might finally prove that my parents were hippies and my mom smoked too much wacky weed when she was pregnant with me.

  4. I have loaded the patch and added the startup cmd, I have the bunny ears and all that but our tribe is following these wild bunny dodo's around and they are NOT laying special eggs, just the regular eggs. I know it's supposed to be a 50% chance but we have at least 20 eggs now and they are all regular eggs. Is there anything else we need to do to get the Easter eggs?

    Edit:

    We fixed it with a wipewilddinos.

  5. I guess I asked something that can't be answered? I don't think the GUI to change dino spawn rates is working. I've changed the spawn rate for Bronto's and it doesn't appear to be working. I can't find the line the GUI should add to game.ini so don't think it's actually writing. If the line is added somewhere else, please tell me.

    Or maybe answer this...

    Does the server need to be shutdown when you make the change in the control panel GUI? (Never mind, I see when you restart the server it shuts it down then writes the change. Or at least it's supposed to. Just not working for me).
