  1. So, I decided to use a custom world. After following the directions I found, the world was changed. But, the map your character pulls out did not. What did I do wrong?
  2. Than can you explain to me how we were and still are able to create alliances on my ARK servers despite having offline protection on? Cause, yes, yes we are able to do so, and we did do so. Thankfully, no one abuses the system for a second sleeper tribe. So, I don't know why you tried arguing with something that I am able to do on my ARK servers. We've done just that. Created alliances while offline protection is on, on my ARK servers.
  3. I can confirm. This method works.
  4. That is false actually. On my ARK servers we have offline raid protection on and we are able to create alliances just fine.
  5. Well, I guess I'll try that, nothing else is working. That worked. Which is odd, why is offline protection preventing the creation of alliances?
  6. Not sure why, but, on my server, I cannot create an alliance. When I go to create an alliance, after inputting the name and hitting the accept button, it is not created. Is this because my server is a PvP server? I see nothing in the config options about disabling or enabling alliances. So, not entirely sure what is going on here.
  7. Yes, though, in a way, the problem was solved. They had already validated and could join other servers, just not the ones I have. Turns out the reason was the location of the servers. When I changed the location of one server as a test from LA to NC, he was able to join no problem. Which than brings me to a different problem. The server I used as a test for this had no one on it doing anything (aside from me). This meant changing locations and removing mods (to see if mods were the issue, they were not) would have zero impact on players. Now I have a new concern, when I change locations of my other two servers (I will be making back ups of the saves), when I upload the saves to the servers after they finish moving locations, is there anything else I will need to do to ensure that people will have their characters and stuff still attached to them?
  8. For some reason, one player out of all the players that play on my servers, can no longer connect to my servers. He keeps getting timed out no matter how many times he tries. No one else has this issue. Originally we thought it might be a mod issue, even though no one else has issues. So, set up one of my servers with no mods, he still couldn't connect. Anyone know of a way to help him? I've ran out of ideas personally.
  9. Ok, so, I've had SE clustered to the Island. In the past other players were able to see SE on the list. Today, I finally decided to go to SE to check up on it. I know for a fact that I have allowed transfers and downloading. Yet, when I push the transfer to another server button at an ob on the Island, the list shows no other sever, which it should be showing one. I have no clue if this is because SE crashed or something because there was no one on SE to tell me if it crashed or not. Should I put in a ticket or is there something I am not doing right?
  10. Thanks, I'll check the ports. Cause, I am thinking they are indeed the same. Cause, while one of my servers that shared the same IP is off, the other one that no one was able to see, was suddenly able to be seen by the players that play on my servers. Check done...they indeed do have the same port. Sending in the ticket now. Just to clarify, if a server shares the same IP/Host number, they should have different ports, is it ok for a server that doesn't share the same IP/Host to have the same port, or should I also put a ticket in for that? For, while two of my three servers do indeed share the same IP/Host, all three share the same port. So far, there hadn't been any issues with seeing or connecting to the server with the different IP/Host vs the only server they are able to see that shares both IP/Host and Port with another of my servers. Wait...that was a different port...that port was for the FTP. So, guessing you are talking about RCON port? If so, those are fine than. Ok, still wondering why people couldn't see the two servers when both are up. Yet, take one down, and the other is suddenly seen by the players.
  11. Is this ok, or should I be worried that two of my servers for ARK has the same IP/Host address? Curious as to if this is anything I should be worried about, as one of those two servers...doesn't want to show itself in anyone's lists for server searches.
