  1. I have been having similar issues where I listed the DifficultyOffset=4.0 with no luck.
  2. Yes it does and thank you. I will be sure to let the players of my server know.
  3. So my server that I admin has custom levels and thus much higher health then the vanilla levels. That being said I have created a trough and from what I have noticed my creatures are not gaining any health back passively. If I force them to eat with food in their inventory they will gain health back. Was curious to see if anyone else has had this issue. I have increased the creature/player health regen to x5 with no change in the behavior at least from what I have experienced.
  4. I just recent changed my location from Seattle to Dallas for the server to help try to lower ping times and prior to this change I was able to connect through RCON fine but now it refuses to connect. All information for the server stayed the same aside from the ip and RCON port. I did transfer my save files and other items over as well. Are there any plans to incorporate a RCON console through Survival Servers?
  5. I am dying to get collision removed so things can clip the terrain.
  6. There is actually a +2 level offset. I set my max level at 303 in the .ini file and it gave me a max level of 305. I dont want to derail the current conversation about the difficulty but thought I should add this in case others find this thread useful for their servers.
  7. I would like the option to "shut down" the server as opposed to stopping it, and allow a specified timer and message go out to player indicating the server is shutting down in 5 mins or whatever the admin selects. This would be useful for when you need to bring the server down for updates or changes and gives players time to get somewhere safe. I would also like the ability to set up custom levels and difficulty Whitelist and Ban List - It would be great to have this so I can avoid using a password. If I could just whitelist a player based on their steam id number.
  8. So I originally did not have DifficultyOffset= in my .ini file and I added DifficultyOffset=3.0 but I am still not seeing a change at all. I did the destroywilddinos command and restarted my server. So not sure what I am doing incorrectly. Any help is appreciated. I can post my entire .ini file if needed.
  9. Sorry I didnt respond to this sooner. I figured it out and managed to resolve the issue we were facing on our server. Apparently if you do not have the correct settings for your "house" it causes the structures not to carry over to players. So I had to do some creative admin to force the player back into his old house and then have the structures carry over with him to his new "house"
  10. Oh ok, I was under the assumption that the settings worked the same as ark where the Difficulty setting was a value of 0.1 to 1.0 and could not go over 1.0. The information I was operating under was here https://ark.gamepedia.com/DifficultyIf that is incorrect though and all i have to do is increase the Difficulty Value then it may have been easier then I thought. My understanding was we had a difficulty value and a difficulty offset. I will test tonight by putting my difficulty value to 2.5 and see if that changes anything before final implementation on my primary server for other players.
  11. So if I am understanding correctly if I have the standard difficulty of 1.0 and the difficulty override is set to 6.5 I should see max level creatures in the wild of 195?
  12. has anyone confirmed if a difficulty override has been implemented or works? I did some testing with no luck.
  13. I can confirm that setting your total xp gained 1 point higher then the max level xp required does indeed remove the notifications for level up available. Also for anyone writing out levels by hand. I now know why it placed me at 301. The .ini file has an offset of two levels. So If I wanted a max level of 300, I would need to do 298 in the ini file and then it should put you at 300 even.
  14. I also posted in the steam forums and one person suggested placing the max xp gain 1 point higher then the max level required experience. I am testing this now and will report back what i find shortly.
  15. I know I have seen many of your post. I typically try to do searches prior to posting but between, here, Dark and light server manager and steam forums I had found limited info.
