I stopped check my server a couple days ago. I have no intention of bringing it back up. when it is up it is up for 2 hours then it goes down and it takes me 20 minutes to get it back up. 5 minutes to log into the game and I loose 5 minutes of unsaved time due to the crash. That is if it doesn't go into unknown status which it has quite a few times. It just isn't fun anymore and paying to play a game should be fun!!! I think a lot of the population on private servers will be jumping ship as soon as the official servers are out in the next few days.

What is UGGG? I have had to restart my server every 2 hours since I got it due to it crashing. Initially I took this because I thought well it is alpha Funcom needs to put out a patch to make their game run stable but the reality is Survival Servers was providing garbage to it's customers. At this time I have chatted with probably 100 customers of other hosting companies and not one is having the issues we have had here. Survival Servers have screwed their customers providing non working servers and in my opinion all of us are owed a refund. I don't care all that much. The cost I paid for the server was less than I pay for some Blueray movies so it is not going to keep me up at night. I have just cancelled my reoccurring without asking for a refund but I certainly think I would be well within the category of deserving a refund for poor performance and poor customer service. You know if I had 70 people on my 70 person server I would expect to be having issues. On average I have 8-20 people on my 70 person hardware so I should have some overhead in case of a "CPU leak" or some extra memory in case of a memory leak as I am not near my servers max. At way way below advertised abilities my server is not running stable! For the last 8 hours my server can't stay running with zero people on it.

90 percent of game servers have 1 maybe 2 players so the temptation to squeak just one more virtual machine on a server and wish for the best would be very tempting as a host. I am not saying that is what is happening I am just saying that it would be very tempting. Say a game needs 3.8 gigs of ram to run and you allot that VM 4 gigs how fast do you think a memory leak is going to catch up to you vs a VM that is allotted 8 gigs? Also keep in mind Survival Servers was the cheapest option out there ( at least that I saw) and you can make your own judgments.

They actually got me up pretty quick this time. I was only down in unknown status for about 40 minutes. I just flew off the handle when I though it was going be another 18 hours of downtime again.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. it was only up for about 25 minutes and it crashed and i only had 3 people on the server. I have talked to seeveral other admins using other companies and they just aren't having the problems that we are having over here.

yep server staff locked for the last 3 hours. in 3 hours it should be working IMO either rollback t oa working backup or install on a different computer and rollback, in 3 hours I can build a server from parts and load all the software on it!

So what is going on you can't just admin lock a server for 3 hours without contacting the customer. When I see and admin lock I think someone is working on my server but for 3 hours? It should be running by now or moved over to a running computer if there was a hardware issue. GAME SERVER ID #32671
