I may jump yet, but looking over other hosts I don't see any with a panel like theirs and I just do not want to ever have to mess with config and ini files ever again. I think I'm going to wipe everything and set it back to stock vanilla. Girlfriend isn't real happy with her religion, few structures up from failed previous toons, and a couple other things. I think she 's a 23 and I'm 18 or 19, so now is the time, not later. Going to miss your Bob Ross icon, loved that guy and your knowledge.

I had my beer this morning, just trying to get the forum to work, ran out, got more and then a long nap, lol. Not up yet for me. I'm using New York, wonder if that matters. Have fun.

Last thing I did, or tried to do, was check mark this box in the control panel. What is it, what's it do?

Ya well, I ran out of beer 5 minutes ago and I had 4 for breakfast, so now I gots to wake up the girlfriend to drive me to the beer store and hear about it for longer then the servers will be down, even if they have to import parts from China. This is when I start to make bad decisions and all because I can't look at a naked thrall, we don't have strip clubs here. I have a bad taste in my mouth too, lack of beers. ;p

No, I don't. Saw your post but it is painful, and iffy, to get this site to function right now. I don't have a lot of exp with hosts, but a little from playing ARK early access. I had two hosts, the first you had to know ini, config stuff, the second I did not. I kept the second. Service wasn't real good at the start, with either. Bugs, early access, lag, rubberbanding (same as now, only it was worse with ARK) Do not expect AAA rated game service right off the bat, just get it out of your head now. I don't have a clue what happened as of now, we will hear from them in time and each will decide what to do. I sent in one ticket here, said up to 24 hours for a reply, that is a turn off, but I fixed the problem by reading here, myself. I have the lowest ping I have ever had for any game yet, with them. The little down time I have had, due to black screen restarts and server disconnects was solved by restarting server here, which up until today was easy and fast. Rates are good. I made a suggestion here in the forums for the control panel and it was done within 5 freaking minutes, no lie. I still am aghast, lol. I'm not ready to jump ship yet, but I may own another server before the day is out.

Yesterday was the best day, so far, for us playing the game, only had to restart the server a couple 3 times and now nothing. Worst of all the silence on this matter from them. That will make me jump hosts faster than the other stuff or should say current stuff, whatever the hell it is.

I don't think I broke it, but it won't restart. Still on loading. Close to 2 hours I would guess, certainly over 1. Strange morning everything running really slow, if at all, was getting 504 errors trying to get on. Still slow as hell just refreshing a page.

Yes, but not all the time. Yesterday could play for most of the day with few problems, but once in awhile...bam disconnect and often I would get what you are, should say most of the time. Girlfriend would disconnect right with me, but she could get back on more often than I could. I'm not sure how many times I restarted the server, but it would fix it. If I had to make a stab at a number...5 times yesterday? We have almost identical setups, I have a SSD hard drive would be the main difference. I'm still thinking it is on their end for a cause. They seem aware of it and have tried to fix it, at least patch notes seem to read that way to me.

Really buggy night, we're on, we're off, can't get back on right now...who knows, we don't, lol.

Thank you. Damned if I didn't log into the server and the settings were holding, after I said they wouldn't. Whatever, I'm a happy camper.

I think that was on the game end and not the server host and the patch today is supposed to address it. The little I have logged on today, it does seem better.

It would be really nice to be able to control these without .ini knowledge. I understand you can do it within game, and I do, but it doesn't stay "fixed" that way. So, this would be my biggest request for the panel, right now.

Not sure what you mean. My password didn't change or player number? Only the name as far as I saw.

I see others talking about it on steam forums, but they didn't say who their host is. Ya, I have the same feeling, it's feels like the patch.

You may be doing nothing wrong. It isn't real clear, but I assume it's on the games end and the patch changing something that is doing this. Read other threads today for more detail. It may be showing up but not with a name you recognize. It is being reported on steam, but no way to know how big the problem is or who exactly it is affecting. On the other hand, stuff happens, and you might have another problem they can help you with. I would assume we'll hear from an admin pretty soon, as this has gone on for a good while now. My server was "Paleo World", it is now "Paleo". I don't know what others might have been changed to, or how unrecognizable they might be on the steam list.

I don't think there is a way to check the version on the fly, but probably is, someplace. The patch notes today indicate there are problems they are working on and still working on. It's early access, plain and simple. This isn't like a baseball umpire, they go out and are perfect the first time and then get better. I can only compare this host with the two I had when playing ARK. I'm here and not on them.

I just logged into game to make sure I show up, I do and am playable. Still only a one word name, but there. It took a while for the server to show up the first time I tried today and then I ignored it, but I use an odd name and it stuck in my head, so I tried it.

You also need to do this every time you log in. I'm not sure what sets it back to its stock version, but it does (no one playing?). Not a huge issue for us, because there are only two that play and she'll howl at me if it isn't set up the way we want it. It would be really nice if we could set it up with our control panel in a more permanent fashion.
