GamerPerfection got a reaction from Torgo in Enable PvE Structure Decay
This has got me very confused and I need some guidance.

I want to enable structure decay on my PvE server so that structures can be manually destroyed at the end of the timer. I want these settings:

    Thatch - 8 Days
    Wood - 16 Days
    Stone - 24 Days
    Metal - 32 Days

So, in the Settings I see this:

So there the Disable Structure Decay (although it doesn't specify PvE) is unchecked. This means it should be Enabled. I also changed the Destruction Period to 2 to get my intended timer settings.

In the GameUserSettings.ini It shows this:
DisableStructureDecayPVE=true PvEStructureDecayPeriodMultiplier=2.000000   Now what I note there is that a) It states PvE there,   it says true (which would mean Disabled), c) It has changed the Destruction Period to 2.0 which is correct.   So why does DisableStructureDecayPVE show as True?   I changed it directly in the INI file, restarted the server and logged on and the destruction timers were working! After another restart the INI has reverted back to True.   Please explain why this is not working? Why does having the Disable Structure Decay unticked not show as False in the INI?

GamerPerfection got a reaction from MeowMix in Modify Server Config
I have had the exact same issue and I have submitted a ticket (#270989).

This is not the first time i've experienced problems with the Modify Server Config panel. It's easier to manually edit the INIs it seems.

GamerPerfection got a reaction from StealthyMartian in my character was erased, anyone can help me plz
I think the confusion here is pretty simple, the reason the ticket doesn't exist is because the ticket is not one made on SurvivalServers because the servers he's talking about in the OP, Asia 120 Scorched Earth and EU 210 Ragnarok are both Official Servers.

The OP is confused as to what this SurvivalServers forum is.

He needs to use https://survivetheark.comwhere he originally created the support ticket.

GamerPerfection got a reaction from Ryan Pennington in Destroy wild dinos different methods
I've experienced this issue myself and I have an easy solution that prevents any need for rollback and simply requires the Admin to handle Wild Dino Wipe slightly differently.

I use RCON for when I do stuff like this, but it doesn't make any difference if you do the commands ingame. This is what I do.

I back-up my saved folder prior to doing dino wipe, I do daily manual back-ups anyway for my piece of mind. I then do Wild Dino Wipe. Immediately after I do another Save World via RCON. The dino wipe will most likely cause the server to hang after a few minutes, please note that the server may appear to lose connection when it hangs, but it doesn't fully crash (not for me anyway), and if I leave it for a short period the connection will re-establish with no requirement to restart the server. Then everything will be fine. The reason you are getting a rollback is because you are manually restarting the server and therefore it will restart using the most recent save file which is likely to be a little old anywhere upto an hour.

If you leave the server for at least 10 minutes or so after doing wild dino wipe then you should be able to get on with no problems and no rollback.
