  1. Coming Soon (~ May 15): Dedicated Server-specific content build with only ~4GB install !!! From the steam update page. Does this mean a lighter load on the servers and quicker restart times?
  2. Everything was fine yesterday, and for some reason I am getting a message when trying to join. Under type it is now showing The Ark instead of Total Conversion as well. The admin panel still shows the total conversion mod id in it, and has not been updated in about a week.
  3. What Andrew said would be very helpful. I searched around and found something similar but that was about early on. We can get a save 5 minute option for restart. For instance today our map got an update, but I couldn't just restart the server to update the map because someone was on. Would be nice if i could push an option to restart but give the server say a 5 minute warning instead of just dead stopping server. With steam doing auto updates that leave people that want on out because of mod mismatches.
  4. #1 No, there is a little more to it than that. You must click run custom game parameters, and then fill in the launch parameters line. If you click the "I" next to the custom game parameters it will give you most of the info. You just have to change to incorporate the new map info. #2. I believe changing maps resets everything. Same as a wipe.
  5. The stack order does matter, but it will vary by mod. If the first mod does not mess with any dino data then having the difficulty mod 2nd wouldn't matter. Now if for say the first mod is chaning dino attributes, and the your 2nd mod is strength, then the 2nd mod data would be ignored as mod #1 has a higher priority.
  6. Is there a particular reason you are not using the control panel for modifying the settings? I would imagine with each new ark update they are (Ark) including that file, because they are adding new options for us to edit and control. Using the admin panel would allow the server to override those settings with each new update.
