  2. I have been doing mods and arma for almost 2years. If anyone needs assistance ask me or ask someone smarter than me which would be the team of Survival Servers. I am offering information that I have encountered personally and fixed on my own. The most common one I see online are No Loot/No Zed Spawns. Without an RPT log i can not help everyone, however use the common steps to get your loot and zeds back. 1. If you do not have CfgTraders.hpp enabled in your description.ext, you may need to check your config folder in your mission pbo. 2. Open up Config folder>epochconfig.sqf look for this: DZE_MissionLootTable = True; That should be set to false if you do not have cfgtrader system. If you do it should be set to true. (this will take care of the spawning issues.) Spawned loot works in together with Zeds. Where there are zeds USUALLY there is loot/cars/debris and etc. If you are experiencing the issue and all these things are enabled properly, check your .rpt log. Look for the error at bottom. Post it here. I will help you. Other things to consider when getting bad lag and bad spawns and glitching. Reduce your Car Spawns in the Epoch config to the default 250 or even lower. Car Spawns of 300+ have known to cause lot of issues, that is just how epoch works. It takes on a heavy load into the dump files and causes errors. In your server Establish a ground rule! 4 or 7 vehicles MAX per player. There is never a need for more vehicles. This is not a hording game or a dealership, play the game, blow up your rides and get more. Have fun. post any issues you may have. Overpoch Chernarus/Napf Make sure all connecting users have Epoch latest installed, Overwatch installed, and add -mod=@DayZOverwatch in your additional launch parameters in Survival Launcher settings. But when doing that the server actually doesnt work . However that was not the reason the server was not working today but it's up and working now . ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I hear there is a fix around the corner for that. I still use Dayz Launcher has never failed me until i use SS lol. not trying to be funny about it but it's true. I never had issues with anyone else on it. I dont blame SS, i just think the servers are not so good, sometimes checking your server through launcher will tell you it's offline. weird. If i knew the infrastructure and servers they use i could decide what to do and how to launch the games. For the most part though, SS has it down pretty well with the panel upgrades and map selection. Overpoch/watch is just an unstable mod and always has problems.
  4. It only shows up for me when i put a portion of the ip address without the port number into the search. NOT ever had i had a server do that to me. I could always copy the ip and paste it in the search and it would find it no problem. So what i did is when i finally caught it, i favorited it so i would always have a visual now i can access it. However, i spoke with dayz launcher guy and infistar both said it's SS issue not theirs. of course everyone says that but i believe them cause this doesnt happen on my other 4servers i have with gtx and vilayer. The other thing is, how did you search for the server? by using the full ip? or part of it? Also i can not get anything to change for me in the ftp access portion. :I change everything so many times and when i restarted no changes took place, they all reverted to original files. Which again i never encountered before. Even when i used to have SS. Something from the get go is not right. I really think it's the servers maybe old data or corrupt codes are floating around hitting servers. When i logged in one time, infistar menu was showing overpoch items in an epoch server...than it went away, than next log in, the items were all in red. I asked Chris who works on infistar, also commented it's not on his end either. So...my only response is to point the finger at the SS servers. But i am running it this month, giving them a chance to see the improvements and see how it goes. I have full hope they will do the right thing.
  5. alright, i tried those methods earlier. and nothing. So i switched maps put it to Sauerland to test and nothing shows up either. I pasted the IP in launcher without the port number and it shows up. what is that about lol?
  6. I sent in another support ticket it's been 3 days since anything works. So hopefully you guys can fix it today asap. bleh. why me!
  7. I talked to The Launcher owner, and said that it has something to do with the server side of my game...so i have no clue.

  9. Yeah I just tried it. Had a few people try it. Nothing showing up. just shows up red. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Funny thing is sometimes I can access it log on and it freezes on me after a while (no message received countdown). I will try switching the locations again. I dont know what to do at this point
  10. Anyone else having a hard time getting their server to show up tonite? I am using Launcher latest version. I ended up finding it one time so I quickly Favorited it (star), and sometimes it shows 0/0 players than after a restart i do on the panel it shows 0/50 players than goes away. I can never sit on server long enough because it boots me. I keep getting Minidump errors in the RPT Anyone having this issue let me know. I would hate to start over after putting in mods. Maybe a suggestion could help?

  13. Really?> that is crazy. I always had it the opposite. PBO always gave me issues. I loved using it but was just terrible. Idk than. Well whatever works I suppose

  16. Minecraft has over 150million users with an average of 34million per day playing on rented servers. Popularity is there as long as the company keeps pumping out updates and new features. It is a lot of work especially when the revenue is subjective to the amount of users and people willing to stay.There are things you can do to keep people staying and signing up. but that is not up to me to decide. anyway i would keep your Panels and never change to TCadmin. TCadmin is horrid. Confusing and slow. Your panel is neat, organized easy to understand and straight to the point. All you have to do is add more features that give the Owners more options. maps,whatever.
  17. Definitely a nice list of maps with options of Origins and Overpoch combined. Add in More difficult mods to the list (a package of mods for 1 price or two would be nice) Vehicle Skins Mods Have the DLL files for Single Currency already installed (helps reduce errors when modding) Add More games to the Survival Servers Database like Minecraft, Killing Floor and etc. to drive a bigger community Maybe a Dedicated Server so we can have multiple maps so they are faster and easier to manage In response to the Map Modifications: I understand , but the overall goal is to have easier user friendly system. That is the number 1 reason I am here. Because I do like the compiled pbo system, I despise the unpacked version that TCadmin has. Maybe just implementing different predetermined and premade spawns. So lets say in the panel you have option to have Normal Car spawns; or Militarized. That alone would take a load off the work from server owners. Add in the time portion different options like: 3hrday/1hr night per restart implement mod install boxes. basic things like bloodbag, no maintenance, godmode base, by being allowed to select the addon and when you update and restart the mods activate. The most basic and common ones I think would help new and current users feel like they have something in the game since they are not superb coders and just don't know how to get into it. Mods shouldn't only pertain to maps either. ESS for instance. i have used on all maps already without issues. But i am sure you guys have lots in store. Most of all: Would love to have at least a time frame or updated News when this is all going to take place "these big changes" Please don't change the compiling system

  19. PBO manager has compiling issues. I would suggest cpbo. The format changes in PBO sometimes rendering a server issue when uploading and playing the newly installed mod. Lot of times I noticed the mods themselves where not compiled.

  21. LMAO that was hilarious to see the response to which one. yeah Lets forget the whole Stability thing, that went out the window with Arma long ago. I opt for we have more options like Thirsk Overpoch/Origins, Sauerland Overpoch/Origins, Sahrani Overpoch/Origins. There should definitely be a versatile amount of maps. Talk about taking out the competition, with a whole new set of maps and features. nobody will compare. I also think we should be able to have a map editor on all the maps. Place vehicles/Military/AI units etc..Markers and such. That would be a great tool to have. We all know adding markers to the mission.sqm is probably the worst thing to have to do and using map editor to place vehicle spawns.
