mpmoise 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2017 I recently rented a server and I can't join it. Every time I try it kicks me out and gives the session lost message. I'm new to this so I might be doing something wrong. Not sure if I need it written in crayon or what but I just want to enjoy the game. I guess what I'm asking is there any guides that show start to finish, step by step on what to do in the easiest possible way. mpmoise 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2017 I have the 1.8.8. I can go to remote and type in ip and port and the server shows up but when I go to join it says "session lost". I just don't want to be a bother with ticket after ticket. I get "can not play/edit this mission it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. map_eu, dayz_anim, dayz_code, dayz_communityassets, dayz_weapons and dayz_equip." Change what to 224580? go to your control panel, stop server. open filezilla, in the default directory of your server look for steam_appid.txt. Edit file to 224580, save.
