Waiting to server to start authentication problem

Hello, new to survival servers, but have been running a server elsewhere for awhile now.  I am wanting to move my server here.

 

I installed overpoch via the control panel, logged into the server to make sure it worked.  It did, so I shut it down and moved my 4200KB mission file over and the server file.  I made sure to name them correctly and packed them into a PBO file.  I used FileZilla to move them over.

 

Once that was done, I deleted the RPT and restarted the server.  I loaded the game and my lobby came up,

clicked ok, my personal splash screen showed up.  The server would show "Waiting to server to start authentication" it would get to around 70 seconds and kick me back to the lobby, I tried this a few times with the same kick to the lobby.

 

These files work fine on my other server, I do get this message in the RPT

 Look back through your files.  It cannot find these by what you rpt says.  If you have added or changed anything i would start there.

I have shut the server down as well as restarted it.  From when I posted this until about 30 mins ago the server was actually turned off.

 

I looked in the server files I added, those files are there.  This did get me thinking, maybe the path to it is named incorrectly(since they are fom my other server).  In the mission init file here is the entry to the dynamic vehicle.sqf, and the server side mission.sqf

 

call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "\z\addons\dayz_server\missions\DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus\dynamic_vehicle.sqf";

 

_nil = [] execVM "\z\addons\dayz_server\missions\DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus\mission.sqf";

 

It looks like it's pointed to the right file in the server folder.  Would I be correct in looking in the mission folder, init file to make sure those are pointed correctly, or is there another place where it points to these files?

 

It has been awhile since i've done any scripting, and I was not very good then.  I just can't seem to remember much of it at all.  A friend of mine scripted this server to add files from my old server and his old server.  He has been AWOL for the last few months, so I can't ask for his help.

Forgot to add my current server hosted elsewhere with the files i'm trying to use here has banking.  I have not added the banking table to this database, Could that also be causing a problem?

I dont know but is the name "DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus" correct in your files?

Sometimes its called "Dayz_1.Chernarus". So maybe you ve merged diff files with diff names?

It is correct. You got: "DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus"  and "DayZ_Epoch_17.Chernarus"  the different is some buildings etc.

"Dayz_1.Chernarus" it is name of mission.pbo file: "dayz_1.chernarus.pbo"

 

Most of problems with "Waiting to server to start authentication" is when prefix is missing in dayz_server.pbo. Open file in PBOmanager and check properties. Should show you "prefix z\addons\dayz_server" if is missing just add it and upload file.

 

 

Something tells me you didn't restart the server after uploading the files.

 

It is possible to upload mission file using FileZilla without restart server? You should get transfer error if you don't  turned off server and try upload file.
