Player Characters EXP Capped after modifying Server Settings Via Web Tool

When starting the sever initially I had Changed teh Sever properties Via FTP client as to have 2x taming Resources, ETC with the implementation of the new Modify Server Config Tool, this settings were reset to the default Values, as the Sever started pulling the Settings that were saved in the Web GUI.

 

After Changing the setting back, to the increased values we were using on the Sever, and restarting we have found that Player characters are getting EXP Capped at 28027.0. a player below this threshold can still gain exp as normal. but any character higher then this is no longer gaining EXP. Having not made any changes to the Player Level/exp threshold options.

I tested using admin command to grant EXP, to no effect, some how hard capped at 28027.0

Tested with second Steam account, and a Character created Post the changes is also capped at the same, 28027.0

in game.ini change them to what suit's you.

 

ExperiencePointsForLevel[74]=27750

 

lvl 74 is the cap on offical server's

the problem is that the Web console  Overwrites \Saved\Config\WindowsServer\Game.ini and \Saved\Config\WindowsServer\GameUserSettings.ini

 

and does not have a setting as above mentioned

correct after using the mod tool you will have to edit

OverrideMaxExperiencePointsPlayer=28027
OverrideMaxExperiencePointsDino=28027

as a work around till they add that in

ok, side question though why would we need to override in ini files if the player cap is higher?

if you took out

ExperiencePointsForLevel

 

it would go back to default those are only used to change them

I have made the above mentioned changes,

/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/game.ini

 

new values

OverrideMaxExperiencePointsPlayer=185000

OverrideMaxExperiencePointsDino=100000

 

Still capped, any ideas?

Correction, changing the override fixed it, i can now gain EXP, but i don't get ambient  Ticks(the .1 for being logged in) given, it really does not matter beyond lvl 60ish but still. I hope to find a proper fix, not a work around.

or set player to 184500

dino to 67860 

 

those are the max settings that are defined in the game.ini

I am not sure what you mean by ambient tics but the level xp values will be added very shortly, I am working on it now.
