Cole24 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2015 Hi, I was wondering how do you edit a file in the FTP database that opens up in chrome when you click on it. For example: publicvariable.txt within the BattlEye folder.

So like have one 4 hour restart be day and the next be night then day again and so one? Thanks for the help.
Vap0rub 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2015 Filezilla allows you to edit the ftp files as for the day/night option, I'm not too sure.
Bilco 41 Report post Posted May 2, 2015 Any of the .txt files that you download should be opened in either notepad or notepad++. So when you chose the option to "open with", don't choose chrome. The day/night setting is changed in the Admin folder, file Hiveext.ini.

Cole24 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2015 Also about the txt files. How do I download them? Every time I edit them with a ftp editor or notepad they never save.
Peatross 2 Report post Posted May 7, 2015 Is your server stopped when you edit the files? Your server must be stopped to save those changes.
