New Mod Sync Website

I was wondering if this new site https://valheim-mod-sync.easy-develope.ch/ would be useful to the server as it keeps all mods and the server in sync and makes it so client side doesn't have to worry about having the same mods available as the server?

I tried to use it here, but forgot there is no permission to upload a .sh file so wanted to ask here.

I'm trying to manually mod my server currently and while slightly unrelated to your post, I wanted to ask about .sh files. The BepInEx mod needed for literally all mods right now has a  'start_server_bepinex.sh' and a 'start_game_bepinex.sh'. Trying to upload them to my sever via FTP is being blocked, as you mentioned those extensions have no permissions.

Does this mean I can't get my mods to work properly on the server? Or do I need to get Valheim + for the bepinex dependencies mentioned above? I'm not entirely sure how to proceed as I'm concerned my server won't run the mods properly without these files.

Also worth noting all my clients who join will have identical pasted mods. So can these files remain client side only or am I screwed?

Thanks for any insight you may have.

Link to the install instructions so we can take a look. Uploading a .sh script (shell script) is not the correct method. That is something ran in Linux. Our servers are Windows and we control the .bat file so all you need to do is modify launch params or upload to plugins folder. It will make more sense after evaluating that particular mod's installation instructions.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it out in the end through an older post on this forum about adding other mods. While the server apparently does need the bepinex scripts to run all the mods (or at least I thought it does?), installing Valheim+ on my server via the control panel gave the server the dependencies needed from bepinex to run other mods. Not sure if this was an unnecessary step but I'm using a few tweaks from the Valheim+ mod anyway at this point so it's all good. Sorry to derail the OP's original topic though!
