Jrekt 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2021 Anyway to download a copy of the world backup for manual storage? Worried some friends may ruin the world by accident when I'm not on and I won't have a proper backup. Thanks
Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted February 8, 2021 Yes log in to FTP (or click the FTP url) and download the .db/.fwl file there
oddthought 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2021 I don't see the .db/.fwl files when I click on the ftp link. I've been looking through various subdirectories as well. Hmm.

You need to click on the hyper linked numbers to the right of "IP/HOST" I cannot find the path where the map seed is. Please help
oddthought 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2021 Figured it out. They are the top two files in the main directory. The ####.db and ####.fwl files. They display as 0b because they are shortcuts to the real files. If you download them, you get the real files.
SpartaChrisTV 2 Report post Posted February 12, 2021 When i go to download them from FTP, its saves them as XML.... do i zip these 2 xml together? I cannot get them to save as db and fwl
Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted February 12, 2021 Nope they aren't xml. As stated, there are two files: 123456.db 123456.fwl Replace 123456 with your gameserver ID and that's the file name.

I accessed the ftp via a mapped windows explorer drive, copied the files, and pasted them into a local folder. It doesnt seem right copying them, but I down see any other way to get them/download them. What am I doing wrong?

Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted February 24, 2021 You can't right click and Save As since it is a symlink. You will need to click it while in FTP in browser.
