  1. Not a problem! Modding DayZ & ARMA servers is very different from most other games and requires a bit of knowledge and research when first trying to set it up! Below is a quick run down on how to upload mods via FTP and activate them on our system! To add mods on your DayZ Standalone server you will want to do the following: Switch your servers map type to "Custom" via the Game Server Control panel to enable the "Custom Launch Parameters" Upload all of the workshop mods you wish to use on the server via FTP After uploading the mods, if there are any spaces or apostrophes (') in the mod folder name remove them! So for example say you upload @My First Dayz Mod it would then become -> @MyFirstDayzMod Or say you upload @John's New Mod it would then become -> @JohnsNewMod To activate the mods you will want to put -mod= followed by the mod you wish to activate For example -mod=@example;@mod;@folders Then click on the green "Save Settings and Restart Game Servers" button for the changes to take effect and for the mods to load! It is important to note that if the workshop mod comes with a "Keys" folder you will need to add file contained within that folder to your servers main "Keys" folder in the main file directory! To edit/upload/save/delete files via FTP, use the following method: Stop your server from the panel. Log in to FTP using WinSCP (a free FTP software) using the connection details found in the "FTP Details" section of the game server control panel. Download link for WinSCP here: http://winscp.net/eng/download.php Navigate to the directory you wish to upload or edit a file. After editing/uploading/deleting your files in the proper directories, start your server from the panel.
  2. DayZ has released version 1.03. Again with this update many mods have be broken and will need to be updated on both client and server side!
  3. To add mods onto our servers you will want to upload the mod content to the root directory of your server via FTP! Once all the mods are installed, you will want to enable "Custom Launch Parameters" and add the mod folder names into that box, separating each mod with a semicolon! For example it would look like this: @cba_a3;@ace;@TFAR;@Exile
  4. If you haven't already, please submit a support ticket so we can take a look at this for you!

    Weapons don't spawn

Are the items you want to spawn in the Military area set to spawn in the types.xml? It could be possible there is an error within your types.xml file preventing everything from being loaded properly! I would recommend using this website -> https://dayz.skyn1.se/ as it will make types.xml editing much easier!
  6. To use the DZSA Launcher while you have custom launch parameters enabled add -dayzserver=DayZServer.exe to the beginning on your launch parameters! As long as the DZSA launcher is installed this should properly run the server with mods enabled! If you are unsure if its working you can do the following: Stop the server Connect to your servers FTP and see if there is a DayZServer.exe (should be about 13.4MB) and a DayZServer_x64.exe (~800KB this is the renamed DZSA Launcher) If the DZSA renamed launcher isn't present, delete the DayZServer_x64.exe and re toggle the "Install DayZSA Launcher" from the control panel to "Yes, Install" and set the DayZSA Launcher option to enabled! After this the server should boot with everything enabled! If you continue to have issues with this, please send us a support ticket and we will help you get it setup!
  7. Apologies for the length of this delay, we understand how frustrating this has been for all of you. Ryan is working as we speak to deploy the update to our machines. You should be able to start updating your servers within an hour or two depending on how long it takes to deploy to all of our machines!

    Please help me :(

I believe I answered your support tickets on this yesterday! However, if you are still having issues, please send us another ticket so we can assist!
  9. @Gangloet if you are still having this issue, please submit a support ticket so we can take a look for you!
  10. If you are continuing to have server performance issues, please submit a support ticket so we can look into this further!
  11. Yes you can! For PS4 servers you can click on the "GameUserSettings.ini" and "Game.ini" boxes on your control panel and paste in custom code you may already have! Then scroll the the bottom and click on "Save Configuration"! If you have issues with this please submit a support ticket and we will be happy to assist!
  12. If you are experiencing issues with the FTP service refusing a connection or displaying a "530 Login" error, then this can be fixed by simply changing the FTP password for your account. At the bottom of your control panel, look for the section labeled Modify FTP Password, and type in a new password within the New Password field, even if it's modifying the last letter only. Once you do this, click on the green button to save settings and restart the game server. If you are still experiencing this issue after making this change, repeat the process once more. If that does not fix it, please let us know via a support ticket and we'll look into this for you.
  13. With the patch for DayZ Standalone today to version 1.09 please be aware that most if not all current mods will need to be updated! Like with all patches, most of the mods that have been released will need to be updated before your server will function properly again. Currently if you have mods on your server that are out of date and broken, after you update the server to 1.09 it will appear to be stuck in a "Loading Phase". To narrow down the out of date mods please refer to your servers RPT files! Being the patch was just released a few hours ago its not likely that every single mod has been updated. A quick fix for servers with mods that haven't been updated is to simply remove the mods from your launch line until the mods are updated by their developers, at which point you can upload the updated mod back to the server and re-add it to your custom launch parameter! Once the mods you use have been updated feel free to upload them to your server via FTP and the server should begin to function again! Please keep an eye on the workshop pages for the mods you run on your server, these pages will be the best source of information as to what issues the mods are having and when they have been updated! Respectfully, Capps If you are running into any other difficulties, as always please submit a support ticket so we can take a look!
  14. I replied to your ticket first thing this morning when I got in! As for how much we charge and why we charge for mod installations: The price will vary depending on the amount of mods that are requested and how complex these mods are to install. We charge for mod work because games like ARMA and DayZ Standalone aren't like other games when it comes to mod work. We have to not only upload the mods but most mods require additional setup within the mission files in order to fully work on the server, this process is time consuming and a bit complex at times so due to this we charge for these services! We also provide information to the customer so they can manually upload mods if they desire and not pay to have them installed.

    Whitelist

You will need to use the MisRcon tool to add players to the servers whitelist!
  16. Yes you can use the "Clean Save Folder" option, or you can simply enter a new world name on the control panel and it will start a fresh world with your current settings!
  17. Capps

    auto restart

The 1500 is in seconds, so if you want the server to save every 15 minutes, set the value to 900.

    Session Lost

Please submit a support ticket so we can take a look at this for you!
  19. Capps

    auto restart

Being Eco doesn't allow for saves to be executed through Rcon (as Rcon isn't supported by the game) you will want to edit the SaveFrequency found within the Storage.eco file in the config folder when you access your servers FTP! If you continue to have issues with this or can't locate the file, submit a support ticket and we can take a look at it for you!
  20. If you are still having difficulties with these issues and the issue still hasn't been resolve please reply to your open ticket or submit a new one so we can take a look and help you with this!
  21. Its possible that your init.c file was overridden after you installed the script, which would cause the script to no longer function. If you continue to have issues with it please submit a support ticket so our staff can take a look at it!
  22. Is your server stopped when you are trying to make this change? The server needs to be stopped otherwise you will not be able to change anything within the ServerDZ.cfg file! If you continue to have difficulties, please submit a support ticket so we can assist!

    How to wipe server?

You can manually wipe the server by going into the following directory via FTP "/mpmissions/dayzOffline.chernarusplus/storage_1/" and deleting all of the files located in there! You can also run a "Clean Save Folder" option from the control panel, but this will likely delete any custom edits you've made to the mission file! If you need further support with wiping the server, please submit a support ticket!
  24. If you submit a support ticket we can provide you with information on how to upload mods yourself or if you'd rather we can provide a price quote for paid installation of mods!
  25. For any server owners that are using my script, please note that with todays game update to v1.01 it broke a section of my code. I have since fixed it an updated Scripts folder can be found here -> v0.0.2
