  1. Hi all,

If we change our map to Ragnarok how do we transfer our dinos there. The dinos in obelisk/transmitter from the center are greyed out on the Ragnarok map. Is there an ini setting to let us do transfers?

If you have a cluster server then you should be able to transfer them from one server to the other.

If you only changed your map without a cluster those dinosaurs will not be retrievable on the new save that is loaded.

If neither of these apply to you, please have a ticket opened so we can investigate your issue.

  2. Some times the server set up can be confusing, trying to figure out if going to .5 from 1 would actually make it higher or lower, Has anyone made a guide to how to adjust each setting, Like going to a higher value or lower value will change it in this way or this way? maybe just a picture with text over it? and If not, If someone wants to help me with a guide on what changes what I will make a nice picture with each thing labeled so it can be pined.

    Thanks, Blood.

You can find a very detailed list of all the config options here:

  3. Good afternoon, I would need to change in my game.ini the configuration of argentavis to reduce the weight they can support, is that possible? And if so, which code should I enter in the game.ini?

You are able to adjust the weight points each dinosaur is given per stat by using the following line:

    PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed<type>[<attribute>]=<multiplier>

You can also adjust the natural weight of dino's by using the command line below:

    PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoWild[<attribute>]=<multiplier>

  4. Since the new Ascension patch (Link below) if you have a level 100 player cap the max level achievable will be 85 (-15 from Player Cap). Once the player has "Ascended" (Description on how to do so in link below) you will be able to reach the maximum player level set.

  5. I bought a 10 person server earlier this month and have recently run into the issue of it crashing about every hour this has resulted a bit of lost progress until we remembered to save the world state. We are currently running 8 mods that shouldn't be conflicting everything that is been changed in the server settings is relatively minor, mostly for hatching/farming. Some suggestions on what to try would be much appreciated.

    Cat2198,

If anyone is running a forcetame command while mounted this could be causing your server to crash. This is a bug that sprung up from a patch about a month ago. If that is not the case I would recommend removing the mods for the day and see if server crashes. If no crash occurs add the mods back in groups. This process will help isolate which could be causing the issue. If you are unable to resolve this issue after those attempts please have a ticket opened and we will be glad to comb through and find any troubles we can assist you with.

  6. Spartanics,

You can add the mods via your control panel inside of the ModID box. You can specify a comma seperated list (or just a single) using Steam workshop IDs (the Mod ID is in the URL of the workshop page for that mod). like:

    123456789,123456789,123456789

Once added this will update your mods every server restart automatically.
  7. I have been trying literally for hours to set up my server with the custom Thieves Island map and have followed the instructions and still have been unable to find the server in ark after it is supposedly setup and is running. Here are the custom parameters that I setup. I need to know what might be wrong and how to fix it. All my settings in game are correct and should allow me to see my server but it is not showing up for whatever reason and I am unable to figure it out.

     Mike,

I was able to see your server was stopped. After using the Update/Validate option in your control panel I was able to bring your server into a "Ready" status. If you require any other assistance please have a ticket opened and we can investigate the issue for you!

  8. In order to manually backup your conan exile server to your computers desktop. Please follow the steps below.

    1. Log into your FTP client using a 3rd party application such as Filezilla
    2. Shut the server down
    3. Head into the ConanSandbox\ folder
    4. Download the Saved folder to your desktop
    5. Your server saved files are now saved and backed up on your computer.
    6. Start server up.
  9. If the provided database backups do not restore accurately, the data corruption might have stemmed prior to the date that we offer roll backs (up to 30 days prior) which we do not have archived backups for. It is quite rare when a full wipe is required to resolve corrupted data. To attempt to prevent this from occurring in the future you can make manual backups as a fail safe. I do apologize and I know how frustrating it is. There are several mods that apparently corrupt world data, certain in-game random occurrences, and other yet-to-be known reasons. I surely hope that the ARK developers bring this to attention and provide, at the very least, a detailed log file for data corruption occurrences.
