  1. I am only posting this here for the newer folks to ARK, and heck maybe some are not aware. Yes: Your dino's can just randomly go poof. It's a known bug for 1.5yrs that I am aware of. No, not from starving or dying or by a spawn point. I mean: Randomly. IT's a real bug. Go over to their forums and they are LOADED with posts. In 24hrs, I have lost 11 Dino's. I had crossed my fingers and hoped it was not real, or server related. It's nothing of that sort. They have went poof from land, sand, on wood, stone metal, roof, water....list goes on. I am sharing this so either you have to accept the bug or move on. My Tribe on another server lost 30+ in one night.
  2. If you want to save server settings if you are just grabbing your games progress and not downloading the entire directory. You will want to also download game.ini, and gameusersettings.ini Located: /ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer AND if you did custom painting, grab this folder: ServerPaintingsCache Located: /ShooterGame/Saved/SavedArkxxxxxx
  3. Also when you submit a ticket you should have received an instant reply like "Support Ticket Opened [#xxxxxx]" At least i do when I open one.
  4. Mod ID: 837280248- Scorched Dinos on TheCenter Thought this was useful information that should be shared to all ARK players looking for MODs, specifically this one. But other MODs may have the same affect. I had created a ticket here and here are the results: Issue- Server no longer announcing that the server is rebooting (it's normal reboot maintenance). Part 2: The server was no saving the progress of the last hour or 2. Response: ---------------- RCON is what saves your game before the server restarts. The problem is your RCON does not work right now because of the mod you have on your server is blocking it from working properly. The Fix: SS Support removed the mod and RCON is now properly working. Thank you Support. *sucks cause I liked this mod. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=837280248&searchtext=scorched
  5. I'd like to add, remove the Mod ID from Steam if you are using that too, and what Ryan suggest above.
  6. @Rawblin... Dang, pretty intense server. I hate when you have like 15 Manta's come at ya.
  7. I was told Server Manager only works with your own local server. I could never get my ASM to work either to a remote server. I would like to know as well.
  8. I had created a ticket for this very question. The reply I got. "Sadly this moment the only options are what is listed within the restart intervals. Though Ryan is working on a way to allow for custom restarts. It just has not been fully configured yet. :)"
  9. Yes, you can. Multiple ways. I use the ARKon app on my pc. Log in with RCON, and you can send global chats.
  10. lol, so right on the taming. I was just thinking of someone taming the "Therizinosaurus" on berries for 3hrs, and poof- server reboot. lol, SO not cool. Wonder how others experience has been on their servers.
  11. I have noticed the same thing. I didnt do the wipe dinos out. My pings though have been the lowest i've ever seen. Typically I am at 40+ but lately 18-25. But the rubberbanding, yup. But to be fair, there have been alot of ARK updates since the other issues. Last night was a tad better. I had stopped and started the server.
  12. The odd thing I had happened is that a MOD I installed that spawns Scorched Earth dinos on TheCenter is it works for me. But others when attempting to connect says unable to DL mod and they cant play. I can only guess its because I own that game too. No clue though.
  13. That one is dependent on the MOD creators. Sometimes the MOD will state 'do not use this mod' or 'place this code first'. Other than that you are relying on peoples personal experience. Maybe list current mods you are using and list the mod you are trying. You can also visit Steam where the MODs are released from.
  14. Not sure if your ticket has been answered yet. I know they have been extremely busy. But I took a peak at my FZ. Protocol should be FTP. Default Encryption: explicit FTP over TLS if available. Change login Type from anon to Normal, then user and password. I do not port a port in. The user name is not the same as your panel. It will start with ss<server#><acctlogin> Password is different too. Hope that helps.
  15. DOAGEN

    Thank you!

Yes, thank you Ryan and all the staff. We do appreciate all the hard work. Thank you thank you.
  16. Are you putting the correct port in? Also, are you changing in Filezilla from the default anon to your actual login and password? I would suggest if you are having issues still is to create a support ticket. They have been very helpful in my setup and in general.
  17. And you are exactly correct. Oops. That is only for the GameUserssettings.ini. Good catch. I will update my post since you quoted me.
  18. One of the most popular apps is Filezilla. Google it, download it, install it. You will put the IP of the FTP, login and password. This information is located in your SS Panel
  19. You can do this- Log into your FTP. Go to the folder /ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer, look for your file. Download to your pc with using an FTP application (ie: filezilla). Remember where you placed it on your pc. Look for the new file on your PC and make a copy of it. Call it like ORIGgame Open the other file game.ini in a text editor like notepad++ or notepad works. Make your edits. Save Now open your FTP application, go to the same folder location as above. Copy the game.ini file from your pc to the folder location. You will be prompted from Filezilla if you want to overwrite. Say yes. Then log into cpanel at SS, stop server. WAIT for it to completely stop. It will change from Ready to stop. I say this cause if you don't, you could hose a process that may prevent server to come back up. I did this the other day by not waiting. Then start server back up through cpanel. That's it. There are other ways as well. This is the way i've done it for a long time.
  20. You can use FTP to grab current game.ini, modify it in a text editor like notepad++. Save. Then use FTP to overwrite existing. *Recommend making a backup/copy of original and rename it something like ORIGgame In case you or others may not know where the file is located: /ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer I would also to be safe: Stop server. Then do your work. Then replace existing file. Then Start server in cpanel. Now with all forums posts related to some having issues, you may want to wait on stopping and restarting a server. Myself have had no issues since last night. I hope that helps.
  21. Sorry, I did the same URL as you posted and it works fine for me. In case a more direct link might help: https://www.survivalservers.com/services/game_servers/conan_exiles/ good luck. @Benny- yes, his suggestion could very well be the issue. Hang in there.
  22. Mine has been up since around 8:30p last night and stable. Even was able to update the ARK server to latest patch. So yes, it appears progress is being made.
  23. I have seen this as well lately in the last week. And sometimes it is really hitting berries but you do not see the text- that happens too. I would suggest if you havent test yourself to make sure, gather the data and report it to WC. I've been reporting bugs at SurviveTheArk dot com. For me I really never got a fix. I just keep swinging until I get the berries.
