  1. There's a built-in 2x on harvesting since about a month ago relative to what we used to have. So if you pick up a stone on the beach on an unmodified official server you get two stones. If you want to get 15 stones, set your multiplier to 7.5, to be the equivalent of old-style 15x.
  2. I'm not sure about that, but I did it using an FTP client to edit my game.ini and added this line: DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=Sheep,SpawnWeightMultiplier=100.0,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=1.0) I think the config tool also has a way to just add lines, right?
  3. Okay, buddy, you've gotten the information, you can use it or ignore it as you see fit. Take care.
  4. Even most of the links you're posting about "Filezilla being hacked" are mostly about people using Filezilla as part of doing hacks of FTP. FTP is not Filezilla. FTP has existed since 1971, and vulnerabilities in FTP have been known for decades as well. Any one of those hacks could be done with any other FTP client, even with the command-line FTP client that's already in the version of DOS that still lingers in some form buried under your Windows. Anyhow, even if Filezilla has some vulnerability in some version or other, that really has nothing to do with anything happening on this forum. That's the real key part here. I mean, there are known vulnerabilities in HTTPS, which is what you're using to read this webpage right now. And there are known vulnerabilities in Chrome, and Internet Explorer, and Firefox, and Edge, and Safari, and odds are, one of those is what you're using to read this page. None of those are germane here. Doesn't mean they're not important. Just means that this is not the place for them.
  5. Umm, if Filezilla is doing something on your computer, that's on your computer. No one can investigate that but you. Specifically, when you mean to close it, be sure you're actually closing it, okay?
  6. Assuming you're running The Center, that's a known problem that has been around for a while, ever since the Redwood Biome was added, but which is due to be fixed in the next update which is due next week. There's nothing you can do about it until then, and it's true for anyone running The Center regardless of hosting service -- you can even see it on your singleplayer game.
  7. I'm not sure about whether that setting can be modified in the control panel, but if it can't, the GameUserSettings.ini file can be edited using an FTP client like Filezilla. (Best to do this while the server is Stopped so there's no chance it'll overwrite any changes you are making while you make them.) The FTP approach is a 'power user' approach since you can do anything, but if you're not familiar with FTP and don't want to take the time to learn, hang on and hopefully someone will give you a simpler way.
  8. When you set up your server you specified a password in the "Admin Pass" box. In game, press Tab, then type enablecheats yourpassword and hit Enter. Nothing visible will happen, but other people will see a star on your head and in your chats in the world chat. Now you can do all the spawn commands and everything else here: http://ark.gamepedia.com/Console_Commands(these also go into the console you get when you press Tab).
  9. And the FPS loss is pretty terrible too, at least for me. Ah well, another week or two.
  10. evilmrfrank (the developer for The Center) said that we'll be stuck with the snow and blizzards until the next major update which is expected in late January. Nothing to do but grit your teeth and ride it out, sadly. I for one am heartily sick if the blizzards. Maybe if I lived in Florida instead of Vermont it'd be more a welcome change of pace.
  11. Thank you for your quick and efficient service as always, Ryan!
  12. Tried various ways of putting -NoBattleye into the command line parameters myself without any success before I gave up and found this thread. I guess the idea is something else in SurvivalServers setup is overriding it even if you put this in? So we can't do anything until SurvivalServers makes an adjustment?
