  1. Ryan, if we rented the slots, would we have access to try and set this up ourselves? My users are really wanting to be able to travel through all of the clusters in place of backing up one of the clusters. Any chance you would consider letting us do it as a trial for you guys? Any idea on ETA for this feature?

  3. Depends on what kind of mods you are looking to run. XML files are pushed to the client by the server so modding them will require no special downloads for your server players. You can also make custom icons for these and put them in the mods folder. The mods folder is experimental yet, but there are already tutorials in the 7 Days forum on how to set things up. For further mods like adding custom builds, models, etc., you would have to crack open the asset file and learn how to insert your own stuff. Something I have not done. This would require your players to download a new asset file since the assets are not pushed to the client by the server.
  4. Try deleting your old saved games. Local files are found in the user appdata under roaming. The output log should show you where the saved games are if you need help locating them. If that doesn't work, you might try deleting and making a new profile as well. A15 save games are not backwards compatible with A14 save games. Much has changed between the two.
  5. If the old save game was an Alpha 14 game, this is happening because old saved games are not compatible between A14 and 15. The terrain generation has changed the way it works in Random Gen 3.0. By trying to use an old A14 save, you are forcing the old and new terrain together. TFP's release notes even state you must start a new game. This is what it sounds like to me, and is a known issue.
