Newly started server is looking for some more folks to join! (Currently thirty slots, will upgrade as needed) We currently have 10 regular players and 2 active admins on the server daily. Admins play just like everyone else, there is no admin cheating except when doing wyvern egg trading described below.. First time survivors will get a small amount of resources to help you get started! Difficulty is set to 5 Wyverns eggs are available through admins by traveling to a specific location, and sacrificing a number of specified materials. (Materials are deleted and are not kept by the admins). Ask in server for more info! Minus the boosts to exp, taming, and harvesting we're trying to keep the server as close to an official one as we can. The main reason that I wanted to put up this server was the lack of moderation on official servers. In most cases they aren't necessary, I'm experienced with the brutality that can be Arma II, Arma III, and DayZ, and as such I've come to understand phrases such as Arma Happens. Similarly to some of the previously mentioned games, some content in Ark: Survival Evolved can be hit or miss as to whether or not it works or screws you over majorly. Other content can be abused, such as blocking off obelisks prevent players from experiencing certain content, or even leaving a server. The PvP mechanics can even be pretty questionable at times with characters knocking out fully armored players with a club in one or two hits, or getting hit by a bola, losing all your items, then being caged forever. On an official server if something like this happens, there's no one to go to at all, unless you know the Alphas or maybe a powerful beta on the server and they're willing to help. Majority of the time we will be able to correct things through non-admin help in-game if our tribe is capable enough to combat who we need to. For those other times, although we're not going to try and correct every issue that crops up, nor ban PvPers, we're here to help. We are also planning to set up ark travel with scorched earth after we get enough of an active population.
