  1. I'd like to suggest that a button be added to the main control panel page that allows the admin to do a manual world save directly from the control panel, without the need to stop/restart the world or be in game or using arkon.
  2. Official servers are at max difficulty which is level 120 dino's, at least the 2 official servers I played on were. My understanding when you change the difficulty is that all the existing dino's in the game already will NOT be altered by the change, only the newly spawning in dino's, which is why after making difficulty changes you are supposed to run the killallwilddino's or whatever that command is to wipe em all out so new dino's then start to respawn at the new difficulty. I'm guessing (cuz I dont know for sure) that when you lowered the difficulty it also lowered the overall ceiling level of exp or level of dino's, so now the game may think your dino's have already hit their max exp cap or something along those lines. Again, I'm just guessing here based on your symptoms.
  3. I'm not aware of any specific setting that changes the spawn locations or rates of specific dinos. Usually it is determined by the location of the map as to what creatures spawn there. I suggest you spawn maybe at west 2, (craggs island) or try some of the south options. They tend to be a lot more peaceful tho carno's and raptors and dilo's all spawn there as well, but in lower rates then other stuff. When you first spawn it just will be a little rough until you get a house going and some weapons and armor, especially if its just you two. When I originally bought my server it was just for a single friend and myself to test with to see how well it would work for us to move our clan here, and we had similiar issues, but once you push through it you will not have that sort of problem much anymore. Here is a link to the console commands you can use as a server admin: http://ark.gamepedia.com/Console_CommandsThe default difficulty for a server here, at least mine, was set to 0 which means wild dino's max out at level 30. We found that within a week the difficulty was to easy and we needed to raise it to match the official servers of level 120. Also, if the server is JUST for your wife and yourself, I personally would just leave it default settings to pvp as putting it specifically to pve prevents you from using flying dino's from picking up wild dino's.
  4. If the server is set to PVE then you cannot pick up wild dino's by default, as that would lead to many ways one tribe or person could grief another tribe or person on a NON-PVP server.
  5. I cannot create a support ticket and I'm having issues with certain settings not working. When I go to the support section of the website it gives a fatal error. When I try to post a new forum topic here It gives an unable to handle request, 500 error.
