On a 1x1 Grid ive noticed people prefer to only have 1, less space, 1x2 2 freeports & 2x2 upto 4 the reason or rather what people say is that 3 servers say even with the least players which would be 40 would all be starting on 1 freeport, you can see why this would cause issues... so yeah on a 2x2 you will find from 2 to 4 most times....
  2. May not be the case but, when you first start the server & load the new map ive noticed certain changes made after the fact dont take on the server.. Maybe this is the issue... Ive tried this myself, Moddified the map file after the server was already running & the old one stays there which means its cached or something on first start.... Just a guess
  3. There is & always has been a way to play it as a single player & the code works now so not sure if it was implemented into one of the last few patches... Also moddifying the Base stats of Food, Water & Oxygene works too... PlayerBaseStatMultipliers[3]=5.0 PlayerBaseStatMultipliers[4]=5.0 PlayerBaseStatMultipliers[5]=5.0 PlayerBaseStatMultipliers[12]=0.70 PlayerBaseStatMultipliers[13]=0.70 PlayerBaseStatMultipliers[14]=0.70 PlayerBaseStatMultipliers[15]=0.70 I think 70% maybe the Max but trying higher values just to see if any work... I say 70 cos with Infinitestats on the max seems to be 70 also..

    Ive seen 7 so far on my server, They look like Tug boats with the old spin wheel propulsion.... You have to set up a default route or at least thats how I understand it & what I did to my maps which seem to work as ive seen lots...

Then set up on the servers as they inject all the needed IP info & other stuff from the Cpanel window.... see if that works... Not 100% sure on the Cell settings as I dont have more than 1 server so havent learnt any of that stuff yet.. Setting that dictates to the whole map I believe so settings say server 1 to Cold means the whole area is cold which looks odd if there all sandy or temperate..... Is what I meant but could be wrong lol Change the pass cos i think i put foofoo & not foobared or what ever it is lol
  6. You have a lot of PVE special event Islands, On the starter area, also temperate settings for cold maps & hot for temperate from what I can see.. ill have a look at the code, im still learning myself lol

I think this forum part is to ONLY post actual Maps, Posting in here may not get you the attention you need, I dont pretend to understand the map editor in all its glory but I was under the impression if your say running 3 servers that youd make a 2x2 giving a total of 4, Then leaving one inactive sos to not cause any issues... Could you upload the Json file for us to look at... ?

  11. Start Steam, Click VIEW at the top, Then down to Servers, Look for your last game & it will say who was playing with you, Hope that helps... EDIT forgot in case you dont know about Steam IO, this is whats used to get there 64Bit ID key.... Just google it

  13. Its just a standard ramp code designed to cover all the bases which in this case is to have enough points to learn a full skill tree as a single player... I assume you already know this cos you cant learn more than 30% of the total without using some sort of code which ill assume again is why you were messing with the advanced config Not sure why it bothers you to be honest... It happened cos you placed a check in the box that says edit engrams....
  14. Then Yes obviously, The modified code is taken directly from the old ARK ramp code... The way it works is this, For every attainable level in game you must have 1 line of code.... so say you get a max level of 100 then you need 100 lines of code for engrams... the reason people just generate a set amount is cos it would be very time consuming to work out what each line needs to be & at the end of the day why does it matter if you have 1000 points left when the point is to just cover what is needed...
  15. Lol the only way you have that code in your game.ini is if you placed it there so that kinda answered your question.... The standard game doesnt have Ramp code you get 1 or 2 points per level normal game....

So heres my question, does that mean this would work if it was put directly into the Json file under Game.ini settings....
  17. The Standard installed Game.INI contains NO lines of code to do with Ramp code so Id say this has nothing to do with SS as they dont add or change the amount of Engrams you get.... In order to change them you need to over write the engram code with new code in the Game.ini which on a default install is BLANK...... OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints=20 OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints=20 OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints=20 OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints=20 OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints=20 OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints=20 SS fresh install doesnt add these lines.... or atleast it hasnt each time ive used reset or rented a new server...
  18. Ive NO idea how to dictate how many ships there are, I figure thats the game code, Nothing to do with the Map.... Mythos can be found on 3 of the Islands if I guessed correctly 2 for Defo... There the Islands that end in PVE which there is 2... As for Mythos that will take some doing cos the average Hydra drops upto 2000 & the average BPC requires 30k, I have a Mythical Pike BPC & thats 60k Mythos lol I see ARK devs are still using the Retarded amounts from there drops when you need 50k Metal to make a Pick haha Keep in mind ive set this Map up for people who ONLY play PVE..... Its heavy on Damage in the sense of what spawns which for the most part is dangerous stuff...
  19. So doesnt the code give you their structures ? as in it doesnt work in ATLAS.... I dont know of any other way other than that... Not without Mod help anyway...

Havent messed with them in a while just google that & it should come up with it, Not sure if it works on ATLAS but seeing it is DLC, cough erm I mean its own game lol.... Compatible with gaming consoles: Yes se if that works, It will give any & all thats snapped together, so doing this command on a single foundation will only give you that if done on say 20 that are all linked all 20 will be given to you..... when Mods are added we will probably get the admin gun which worked well in ark as you just pointed & blew it all up...
  21. Yeti are on most of the snow Island versions of the maps.... The PVE or special Event maps contain the Gorgons, Hydras & the Fire Elementals... People are confusing these with what im after, Im after the Standard Mythical Island NOT the special event island which I already know....
  22. Have a look at my 2nd attempt.. The extreme island one.. thats an update of the Survival Servers origonal starter map.. was able to learn from that one.. like the power stone settings & biome stuff.. along with a better choice of islands.. that has 5 discovery areas givin a max player of upto 450 possible plus 2 PVE special event island that contain the hydra, gorgons & the elementals...
  23. They have to alter the core files then recook them, server inis are for configuring multiple instances, they give us the ability to try different configs.... They also have to alter the Dev kit if there is one so everything is the same for modders.... Its more complicated than this but this explains in a simple manner... With the Ramp code they added this to the core files so we the gamers can configure either up or down or less or more & so on..
