  1. Sorry i couldnt wait I manually installed Oxide through FTP, and although a couple files in the main directory of the server couldnt be overridden due to not having permission, apparently the most important files did got transferred and the server is up and running again, with the new Oxide version So far it seems all plugins i have are working, but it might be the case some need an update.
  2. This is the official note from Facepunch, seems there was a bug in rcon security: http://playrust.com/security-update/
  3. Hiya Ryan, Facepunch pushed out a quick game update (from what i've read a small security update). This infects the Oxide mod in way it is not working. There is no word from the Oxide devs as of yet, so hopefully they are working on it (considering the holiday period). I have 1 question though. (im renting a server) Ofcourse i want my server to be up and running as soon as possible, i also realize its just a matter of being patient. If Oxide pushes out an update, do i have the right permissions through FTP to manualy replace/reinstall the new Oxide version, or do i have to wait till you guys get the update and implement it on the servers ?
  4. mrww001 i am assuming that you rent a server from survivalservers. That means you dont have to install Oxide yourself, the servers do that automaticly if you have the correct setting in the controlpanel. For the actual install and use of plugins (many plugins require permission or other settings done ingame) read the forum(s) and plugins info on the Oxide website itselff (www.oxidemod.org). If you still have problems it is also better to ask them on the oxide website, as for there are more people there (also from other server hosts and dedicated server admins etc).
  5. wow why didnt i think of this lol I basicly tried this but in the wrong order hahahah Oxide is running again. Ryan, in frustration i already opened a support ticket (#598802). It seems i cannot undo/close the ticket, i hope this does not cause to much inconvenience. Regards, Purifier
  6. Hey Overlord, That is a good idea to try, but im renting a server from survival servers, so i dont know if i can just delete and replace the oxide folder via the ftp login. Beside that, the server is not even trying to load oxide (as far as i can tell from the server log)
  7. Hello, Today i could not find my server in the ingame list. First i thought it was because i downloaded a couple new plugins (ofcourse i restarted the server) so i deleted them and restarted the server again. Incase those plugins managed to screw up Oxide i switched it to -No mod- in the controlpanel. Still no serverlisting. I found out there was a client update of the game so i turned the option -Yes, run update- on, on the control panel. After that the server was back in the ingame list, but when i switched the Oxide mod back on in the control panel, it doesnt seem to load it. Evidence is the ingame oxide commands not working and it doesnt show in the gamelog.txt file in the main game/server directory. I've added a copy of the gamelog.txt I am at a loss what to do. Before i create a support ticket i thought to give it a shot here with you guys Server name: Purity - PVP | Kits | Home | TP Ps. while im posting here, another question, but how do i put colors in the server name, using the color codes in the name on the controlpanel doesnt seem to work :s Regards, Purifier gamelog.txt
