You can download the ini files via FTP and look at them. A good tool for this is FileZilla. You can also manage your ini files this way by uploading your changes. However, this method requires you never use the form-based settings editor in the control panel as it will overwrite your uploaded changes.

I'd very much like to see a "Load values from ini files" option for when you tweak the ini manually then upload it.
