Just a heads up from the patch notes: So if it looks like your attempted update went back to an earlier version... it didn't.

Just letting you know your file lock fix appears to be working. Earlier this morning I checked the state of my server and the `TheIsland.tmp` file was present and the `TheIsland.ark` file hadn't been modified since 7/29. I backed up the tmp file just in case. Fast forward to now and the v191 udpate and the tmp file was gone, and I updated the server to v191 successfully.

I'm fine with the lost day. Right now I'm more concerned that I can't safely upgrade to v190 that just released this morning. Looking forward to hearing back from support.

I opened a ticket (#875788) as my issue is related to this. More details are in the ticket.

Just curious if anyone has run into a similar issue recently. I made some config changes and then instructed my server to restart (around 10am this morning Tuesday). Now some of my players are contacting me informing me that the server state is that from Monday morning. While searching these forums I ran across people having data loss issues about a month ago. But none that I could find recently. I've been restoring backups in reverse starting with the most recent and have gone all the way back to midnight last night and for each one the server state is still from yesterday morning.

Confirmed that choosing a new location fixes it (which in retrospect makes sense considering it's just nuking the old VM and giving you a brand new one).

I'm trying it. Transferred all the files from 'ShooterGame/Saved/SavedArk<serverid>' so that I could reupload them should it actually fix the issue.

Which effectively wipes your world out, doesn't it?

Mine at first wouldn't update. Tried four or five times (I didn't spam it, waited a good 15 minutes in between each time). Now it seems as though the update finally kicked off but now it won't actually startup. The version has shown as '???' for the last hour and a half. Server #7668
