Unfortunately we discontinued our paid mod support as it was taking up too much time, however we do still offer support via ticket for modding. Just not as in depth any longer.
Please start the game update, and press the green update/restart button at the bottom of the control panel page. That will get the server booted up. The server files are edited via the server control panel as there is no direct FTP access due to the devs disallowing it.
SCUM has config editing options in the server control panel. There is no FTP for SCUM due to the developers not wanting us to allow access to the server files for users.
The game will likely not allow you to connect to servers if it was not legally purchased. We do not condone or recommend that you pirate games, please purchase the game and support the creator and legally acquire a license.
Are you first stopping the server, editing the file, saving the changes, then starting the server using the "Start" button in the top right section of the control panel?
What method are you using to reset the world? I believe I replied to a ticket you have open about this, unless another user has a similar ticket and I am mixing it up.
Please try wiping the saved data manually via FTP, run a game update, stop the server once the update is finished, then try uploading the files. If you are still having the issue, please submit a ticket for us to take a look!
