    Ok i tried to run it like 5 times and finally the Don't close this window stayed up for much longer than normal. Server is now started and is loading. Just keep trying to run the ark update eventually it should finally update. If the window closes in less than a minute then run the update again until it behaves normally.

    So i stopped the server then selected ark update clicked apply and restart, the screen appears saying this could take 60 minutes to complete. It completes quicker than i've ever seen it complete previously and the page reloads with the server still stopped and am unable to start it.
